There’s three spells that you can cast without being connected to the app Lumos, Incendio and Nox. And don’t forget to flick the light from your wand to your box. 🧙♂️
@@JSPYRO have the box open and no app connected. The pommel flash an orange color when it’s in the box and ready to use. When you pick up the wand it should light up blue and then go off. It’s only using motion so it’s a little harder to do that some of the spells Nox in particular. That should get you started and I don’t wanna spoil too much. Hint: Lumos, Incendio and Nox. 1,2 and 3. 🧙♂️
As an old model builder, I was immediately thinking of how one might "fix" this wand (although if it's as rare as it sounds, fixing it might affect its value.) The metal twist in the center could be replicated with heavy gauge wire and either swapped out or overlaid atop the existing plastic piece to reinforce it a bit. Those mold lines...good grief! I would have to fill those in and file them down so that they disappear, then retouch the paint so that the filling/sanding would blend out. Yours is not the first "review" I've heard where people have taken issue with the quality of the build. They've all said they love the concept itself, and that "casting" feels good. But it's almost as if there were proof-of-concept prototypes that they used to make the initial ads that looked fantastic, and then the actual production models which were of substantially lesser quality.
Make sure to start the tv app first then open the phone app and make sure they are both on the same Wi-Fi I’m using an Apple TV you need the app which is only on Apple TV and Roku

The tv or (Apple Tv or Roku (app) ) gets the cue to play the spells from the app on your iphone or android. So you need to launch the tv app first then log into your phone app. and when you cast spells you will see them on your tv as well! to use the lights you need either lifx or Phillips hue lights with the Phillips bridge. Hope this helps!!
I was underwhelmed the moment I opened the box. The material feels cheap, lightweight and has gaps in the moulding. Compared to a couple of wands and other merchandise we have, this is really disappointing for an official HP product and is by far the most expensive (£149 in the UK). Mine is going back.
@@angelatucker5913 indeed but they are valid criticisms as well. The only thing I don’t agree with is returning the wand the gameplay loops 🔁 is worth keeping it imo :)
I have the loyal version. I have a light strip behind my dresser that that I control with it. And there are times when I cast the spell it doesn't communicate with the lights. Does that have something to do with the wand box being dead or something or is that because the lights are not in range
I don’t have any of the hue lights to test however I have noticed that when the base Is not charged the wand may or may not work properly 💯 of the time
It seems that you’ve got it all wrong wiz bulbs do not enter face with the bridge even though it says Phillips, it doesn’t go Westy Phillips hue bridge you need to buy the actual Philips hue bulbs themselves. It cost $50 a bowl beach and may be a shame for you they may cost $50 but if you want to find someone eBay that could be some cheaper prices so if you want to use those bulbs for you spell caster wand along with your TV then you’ll get the full experience.

Love the video had the sensor issue to and you helped me fix it thanks. Another Note. are you an IOS user cause the app on android seems slightly behind. the wand ceremony can only be done once and not replayed and I had no tutorial. when you cast expecto patronum you see a animal walk across your screen on mine there was no Patronus animal.
Hey! So right now there are some issues with the patronus showing on the tv I made a list of the ones that don’t work I’ll post them here on the community tab for you! Currently trying to get magiccaster wand to look into it and yes you can only do the ceremony once I just never hit the finish button at the end so I can do it again 😂 and lastly thank you 🙏🏽 I’m happy I’m helping people because my first day with the want was a mess 😂
Yeah it was kinda insane how fast they went my only question is how many scalpers got thier hands on one and how many actual fans got a chance at getting one
Bro. The Phillips Hue lights don’t work without the bridge. I got the Hues and learned the hard way. For a cheaper and easier experience I suggest the LIFX lights. Way better !
One thing. I can’t seem to get my Patronus to show up on TV Screen. It shows up on my phone but not TV. Maybe they haven’t updated app to show all of the Patronus animations yet. Do you know anything about that ?

@@markbentley5777 so how it works is that the tv app communicates with the phone app so you will have to have the phone app open and your wand connected to the phone as you do spells they will show up in the tv so launch the tv app first then your phone app :) hope this helps!
@@holly.sketches.melancholy oh i miss understood your question! Im sorry So, for the heroic wand since its Ravenclaws wand its blue i dont own the other wands so i cant speak to the base color of other wands unfortunately. I will however query the community and see if thats a thing! :D
@@holly.sketches.melancholy I have Honorable and its blue even though its advertised as red for Gryffindor. I read somewhere that during a demo for advertisers the devs said that the wands aren't really meant to rep houses in there design, even though that's how they advertised it, and that you are just supposed to pick the design that you like and all wands was suppose to change to match your house color. mine doesn't so maybe future feature
I’m having connection issues when it’s not connected it lights up when it is connected it doesn’t light up at all and can’t cast any spells any help? @jspyro
