Pop Haydn is one of the very best, talented and well versed magicians in the entire history of the performance art. Combine that with the fact that he's also a super nice guy, and you have real magic. Thanks Pop, for all that you do, all that you've done and all that you share with magicians the world over, you've helped magic grow and stay alive, in so many ways, for so long, that every single one of us owes you a thank you. On top of teaching us, you've also kept us entertained. You are pure gold.
I was just saying this on another clip. Pop Haydn is probably my favourite of all magicians. His effects are generally the simplest, most frequently performed things in the book -- yet he's always utterly entrancing. It's ALL about the performer. The effects are incidental. And is there a better performer than Pop? I can't think of one.
