Magic Kingdom Hall of Presidents Walt Disney World Liberty Square 

You know, I live in Canada, but I've been lucky enough to see Walt Disney World 4 times in my life (so far) The first time I saw this presentation, I was awe-struck. It's breathtaking. When I first saw Abraham Lincoln stand up, and speak, I almost fell over. The technology behind this is the most wonderful thing I've ever seen. I can't say enough how much I love this attraction. Thank you soo much for posting it. I'll watch it again and again (and again).

This is the best attraction in the Magic Kingdom (along with The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain) This is always the first place I go when I go to Disney World.

This is a GREAT attraction and really brings a tear to my eye (although not as much as the American Adventure at Epcot does) whenever I watch it. True, this isn't a 'thrill' ride, but it sure does let you think and feel. It informs you of a little bit of the history of the United States of America.

They all look so real. It's amazing. I saw it twice a few weeks ago.

This is my favorite video of the Hall of Presidents. One of my favorite parts is when Tyler and Jackson look as if they are having a conversation during Lincoln's speech. So real looking. Mr. Disney would be proud. Great job ru42.

Thank you so much for putting this on You Tube. I grew up with "The Art of Walt Disney" book and they had pictures of this attraction and just by chance I though of it the other day and thanks to you I get to see it!

A home video taken of this attraction back in 1992 featured on "America's Funniest Home Videos" recorded an incident where the animatronic for Lincoln experienced a technical difficulty where it sunk back into the lap of Quincy Adams.

This is not on Main Street. At Disneyland Anaheim there is/was Great Moments With Mr Lincoln. This ride, Hall of Presidents, is at the Magic Kingdom Florida in Liberty Square. - _ RU

In this version of HoP the narration is by JD Hall. In 2009 with the addition of Barak Obama there is a new narrator - Morgan Freeman. So yes, Morgan Freeman is the current narrator of this attraction but not the narrator if this version.

I saw this in February 2011 and it was amazing! It was my first time at Disney.. (I was 15)

There are so many things to look at that you could go see the show 100 times and not see it all!

I don't know why but whenever I see Abraham Lincoln the voice I have in my head is Gregory Peck. A kind, warm, fatherly voice. I was so disappointed when DisneyLand removed the Lincoln attraction for repair. I hadn't been to DisneyLand for years and went specifically for that.

I read that Royal Dano is the voice of Abraham Lincoln. Mr. Dano played the role of Lincoln and was also made a few appearances on "The Rifleman"

Well done i say to mr. Disney his animatronics ( first man animated animatronics was Abraham Lincoln by the way ) acted like they were real and move during the speach and look liked they r having conversations and thank you for you made this wonderful video...

I miss that attraction, As of now I like to go a day in Disney World without having to see the presidents face or hear about him... maybe in 2 years Ill be able to see that attraction again.

I will never forget going there 10 years ago, memories still fresh, I was 13

Royal Dano, who voices Abraham Lincoln, also played a man who believed himself to be Lincoln a decade after the real President was assassinated in the "Rifleman" episode 'Honest Abe'.

@WhistlefanBill - Thank you for the highest compliment. Yea, I love the interaction of the AAs off to the sides of the one talking. So darn cool, A subtle effect that is hardly noticeable that it is there; but would be really noticed if it wasn't there.

Speaking of the Animatronic's legs, did you know that, in particular, the Franklin Roosevelt figure is so realistic, that if you look closely, you can see the braces on his legs (FDR had polio in his legs)

This is so much better than the show they have now.

Ahh the HoP. It may not be the most humorous attraction there, but I like it. And whoever does Washington's voice sounds very familiar....(as does Franklin's)

For those who are curious, the reason the President animatronics look so realistic in this show is because they use the most advanced audio animatronic system to date; the A-100 system, its so advanced, takes 8 hours just program 1 second of movement!! By the way, does anyone know the name of the song at the end, when you see the top of the capital building? (editing a comment I made 11 years ago for spelling... never thought I would do that)

I used to just love this attraction. :) This too was a D Ticket attraction back in the day. Or was it a C Ticket? I can't remember now. But I loved it when Lincoln stood up and spoke.

Morgan Freeman is ok,,, BUT JD Hall really fills the room with thoughts,,, and brings it to life!

Its called the presidential seal. It was cool to see it, and they had to put t behind a circular gate.

... i thought all the prez's talked. so let me get this straight ... this awesome ride is actually a fifteen minute PBS documentary your history teacher would show you on a day he forgot to have a lesson plan for ... and then you get to listen to only one animatron talk. Really ...

This is a show not a ride, and this was supposed to be build at DL in ca but they lost the room for it, when WDW in FL built and opened in 71' they made sure that they built it. The show adds the presented as they be comes our National leaders when I was there about 10 or 11 years ago Bush sir or Clinton wasn't there yet so it always changing.

isnt this at Epcot too? In the city thing?

Abraham Lincoln would certainly be proud of America today for looking beyond skin color to elect our next president.

Eric Foner ruined this attraction when he was allowed to make it revolve around slavery and civil rights instead of, you know, the presidents.

You are semi correct. Most of the presidents are the older model. Bill Clinton and George Bush are the newer A100. - _ RU

George Bush looks more human here than in real life.

the hall of presidents uses the older A-1 model animatronic, not the A-100. The A-100 is much more lifelike. do a youtube search for "alec tronic" for an example of the A100.

Billy Harrison was the president who died only a month into his own term of presidency. poor guy couldn't get too much done. needless to say, his reason for not having been our greatest president was a thing beyond his own control. anyone who wants to know of presidents who's personality evidence as a poor choice by the people of America was something the country could've done something about, just reply to this comment, here.

And what's funny is they would have never even agreed with each other. Jackson was a Democrat and Tyler was a Whig. Also Jackson was against a civil war happening and did not support secession, while Tyler not only supported secession, he was part of the Confederate States of America's presidential cabinet.

And to think, the original show only went from Washington to Nixon. Would't it be cool if someone posted the original Hall Of Presidents, even if it would be only a breif 3 minutes, after all, in the 70s the only avilibe video cams were super8, and only shot 3 minute clips.

wow i would love to see obama in this show. so wonderful it would be. people would be so impressed. disney always has a way of bringing the inner child out of you. i would love to go disney world one day. sad to say i have never been there.
