The product did not last as the opening is not very wide and it tore at the top. After repairing it, I modified it by attaching rubber bands at the top one on each side. The rubber bands were attached to screws and put under a little tension. It allowed an additional 6 inches of opening at the top. Made a big difference as it is much easier to pass through. Second thing is to dump the tacks and use screws.

that part frustrated me as well. I have now seen that they sell these for larger door openings...should be interesting.

I had one of these and you're right! If you have wood it will pull off the paint/stain if you pull it off I have siding now so I'm thinking it would work better but I won't use tacks Great review!

Are used it all last summer for our dogs so they could go in and out to the backyard and it worked very well but I have to replace it for this year

I like the screen, it is a great idea for summer. The top part was a bit frustrating - being so close together.... probably didn't bother the dogs...ha. I saw they now have larger sizes for bigger doors.

For some reason I thought it would be a lot bigger. It was kind of disappointing that I couldn't use it on my sliding door. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

kit doesn't need to be wider why?? you ask cause its not meant to go over a storm door uh duh!!!! without the aluminum frame there will be wood to attach the tacks. so this genius video makes no sense!!!!

Ask the company to custom make one for you. Its a little more expensive, but worth it. Also, when laying out on the floor initially to stick on the velcro, make sure you hoover your floor first, as it does pick up everything, pet fur etc...

Great review! I was wanting to buy this I’m glad I didn’t my doors are to wide and really would not want to have to return it to Walmart it’s so far out from me even though I live in the city, this city does not have one it’s the city next to it that has one and still pretty far. Anyways great review, and wanted to ask you have you reviewed the purple bed mattress or pillow? If not plz do and let us know if they are good or not?! Thank you for the video glad your doing them. This one really disappointed me. I had high expectations but it fell short. I have reviewed the purple pillow and the purple plush pillow. I haven't worked my way up to the bed just yet. It actually was pretty decent and I've heard the new ones for large doors and garage doors are pretty good too.

They have different sizes so that's why it wouldn't fit your door. They have sized for small doorways, large doorways, sliding glass doors, 1 for garages and a bunch of other sizes. It says it on the box.

I wouldn't recommend altering it as you could damage the item. Could you just attach it to a door and overlap the wall a little more? Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

lol, I'm not sure what is better, I read that they reinforced the seams...I was at CVS the other day and saw they now have them for larger doors and even garage doors..pretty cool. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I like that they expanded to larger openings. I saw one for a garage the other day...I like that idea. The single door on the other hand is a little tight.
