Magic of Thailand: Traditional Thai Dancing at Warwick Racecourse
Hello everyone welcome to my channel
Traditional Thai dancing is a combination of graceful body movements in addition to elaborate costumes and music. There are a total of six different forms of Thai dance: the khon, li-khe, ram wong, shadow puppetry, lakhon lek, and lakhon. One of the most distinctive aspects of this Thai art form is the costumes worn by the performers. Though the quality of the designs have gradually declined since its beginnings some centuries ago, the outfits still remain stunning and elaborate. Gold and silver sequins are used, and even unusual adornments such as beetle wings have been used in their creation.
What is Magic of Thailand Festival?
Magic of Thailand was established in 2012 to bring Thailand to your door steps.
They are hoping to bring the Thai festivals to us in Manchester, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Brighton and Warwick this year. This weekend wonder and bring along your families and friends to experience a touch of Thai culture. Thai food, arts and crafts, watch traditional Thai dances, Thai boxing (Muay Thai) demonstrations, ladyboy shows.

Excellent day to treat yourself to a weekend wonder and bring along your families and friends to feel a touch of Thai culture, where you can challenge your taste buds and feast your eyes on world-class food and performances. Unwind with a traditional Thai massage and don't miss the unique eating competition and Muay Thai boxing. The festival starts with a traditional food offering to Buddhist monks and entertainment throughout the day including traditional music and dancing, Muay Thai boxing, Ladyboy show, Thai beer garden, Thai food and produce stalls, Thai massage and children's play area.
