Did i mention this was my favourite trick?

My goal and intention of this performance was to uplift and inspire. The audience at hand (700+) and the hundreds of thousands of views, as well as the personal feedback I've gotten, tell me I've succeeded in this goal. Thanks for watching, there's much more to come. I hope there is love where you are.

*look at the cards and say "I love you but I'm not in love with you" that'll screw them up* Silence... This crowd is either dead, or has never heard a joke before. Classic Hannibal joke that makes me laugh every time

"Hannibal has 9 letters." This man is such a master of controlling attention he can just boldly lie and nobody cares.

This was an incredible performance. I always admire Magicians when they do a routine knowing full well they are going to be recorded. It really takes a lot of heart to put your craft out there like that for everyone to dissect afterwards. The haters who burn his moves and call his handling sloppy, still have no clue as to how any of the effects he performed work, but they feel so accomplished because they spotted a "secret" move. Worse yet are the dimwits commenting on his physical shape, like they have anything to do with the amazing skill that was displayed. What I admire most about this performance is the way he weaved all of the effects together into one complete story. I liked his patter with the volunteers, and you can tell by the smiles on their faces that they enjoyed the performance as well, contrary to what the perpetually offended snowflakes in the comments might say. My hat is off to you Chris! Well done!

The great thing about this guy is he jokes himself out whenever he messes up, and make it his own comedy show. Good job, big fan of ya.

Chris is the man.. I grew up in Charlotte and saw him perform at festivals all the time. He's genuine and wants everyone to have a good time, and feel special. Quite the trickster too

I like this mans power of inspiration and story telling. To go from a nobody to where he is now, he deserves every penny. Keep doing what you do man you're an amazing person for it.

The "lie about your card" part totally threw me because I was thinking of the Queen of Spades too...

I've done a TEDx event before. It's a little intimidating due to a clock staring you in the face, and it's not a typical performance that people are expecting. People come to these expecting to be enlightened or educated. Then you add the element of knowing it's going to be put online for the world to see, whether you approve or not. I don't read the comments on mine, because I know a lot of jealous, immature pricks are going to leave insults because it make them feel superior in their own little world. So, although I may not know him on a personal level...as a magician, and mentalist that performs in the same circles as Hannibal, I can honestly say this was a great and entertaining performance.

That was good enough. This is a perfect example of how anyone can do anything they want with passion. Not only did he just blow my mind, but he also inspired me. I hope someone else is touched by the magnificent work that to me is extraordinary, but to him, is "good enough"

I saw this guy performing table magic tricks in Charlotte over 13 years ago. He did the same trick. This was up close and just as amazing!!

The trick is so simple yet the way He does it is amazing!

Easy to see how this is done if you've got a little magic background, but to watch his skillset in action is really amazing. Talk about using your weight to your weight advantage. :D :D :D. Love ya, Chris. Your patter is the absolute best!!!

I love Hannibal! Nothing he did here was particularly difficult (let’s put it this way, there are tons of tricks far more difficult), but his presentation is that of someone who’s toured the world doing magic…and that only comes through performing for thousands of hours

I dont know how you do the sleight of hand but i love how you force the 3, i know thats the ideal number to use for card stack, thickness etc. but it would be great to see other numbers you use

Hmm !! I guess I don't understand the hate coming after someone who seems Only to inspire and entertain people. Critizing a man who simply makes people smile and bring joy to others as foolish. He is a gifted man who uses a talent he has worked hard for years to bring people s little slice of happiness. There may be better things to do with your time other than trolling. Trolling says more about the person throughinv hate than the person it's focused on. Hannibal keep making people smile, I would worry about the people who struggle so much on the inside they feel the need to hurt others. It's simply a waste of time.

at the first trick, in another performance the spectator also took a "3"...so i think he changes the number of cards after the first counting, before giving them back to the guys. and then he somehow makes the spectator choose a "3" =) but he does a really great job, because you can't see anything. love his funny shows =)

I've seen only two renditions of this trick so far... is it always a three that gets selected? Anyone seen any other number? Love it, by the way - I can't do magic pretty much at all, but I love trying to figure out how they do it. This guy is great!

Maybe it's just not your thing, I loved it. I've seen him live, I've seen him lecture, I've watched his videos & I always enjoy watching him. Must be that he has a more British sense of humour & showmanship. I know Americans tend towards the over sugared respectful "go team" attitude. I think if you take a look at some of your comments on here towards Hannibal you'd find much more offensive comments than he puts into his presentation. Maybe the best thing for you to do is post your own 20 minute TED show so we can all judge you. ✌🏼

The only part I cannot figure out is the 3. lol Definitely one of my favorite magicians. Charisma and Humor is on point. Great performance.

I was entertained by Hannibal's TED performance. Great show, thank you. Unexpectedly though, I was entertained by Mikey. Not only do I enjoy magic, I really enjoy backpedaling trolls. Thanks for the double feature! 10/10 Would go to one of Mikey's live performances.

Holy Crap. This is one of the best Mentalists i've ever seen. All you haters don't even understand what he is doing during his act. This is pure psychology mixed with slight of hand mixed with insane amounts of statistics and logarithms etc. I usually can figure out every trick / every secret etc, and I don't want to ruin it, but trust me, this trick is all based on intelligence and some manipulation and is just astounding. As a fellow magician (semi pro), I know everything he did except the finale. That was amazing., however Hannibal's IQ is off the scale here. That's the trick pretty much

The moment to moment control over attention of magic is brilliant. im a big fan hannibal. but it seems like your banter with a willing and cooperative volunteer is the kind of report youd have to establish with a heckler. slightly demeaning, yet polite. when used on a heckler, it gives you credibility and shows experience to the other spectators, but when the volunteer is cooperating with the entire trick and is still met with that sort of 'attitude' for lack of a better word, that simply just makes for an uncomfortable experience. you obviously are doing something right, i was just making an observation.

He is incredible..., so smooth, funny, and just a nice human being.... Hope I get to see him in person one day
