MAGIC REFORM CPU origins from Huaqiang N. 華強北, Shenzhen, China. First begins with i7 4720HQ and step to step cover to all series of 4th generation mobile CPU including the hottest i7 4980HQ.
This video is introducing a new flagship, i7 5950HQ (ES), among the 5th Gen Broadwell processors.
Its fascinating feature is just 3/4 of 4770K’s price but 6700K or even 7700K performance. Saving the budget to upgrade else hardware, like a better graphic card or larger SSD as you wish.
Considering the 6th, 7th or later Gens of mobile CPU is significant oversize than desktop socket, such magic reform CPU would most likely to become a swan song.
From a neutral analysis, 5950HQ maybe an upgrade version from 5775C. According to our testing, it really preforms remarkable potential especially comparing with 6700K or even 7700K after OC over 4.2GHz.
This CPU, i7 5950HQ ES, could be found on eBay via,
www.ebay.com/i...
Notice: The item is been removed once by eBay because it is offended eBay’s advertising policy. Which means they don’t allow me mention else CPU like the 6700K 7700K just as my title here. So, I received the warning letter from eBay and all the listing been removed.
I really can’t guide more specific settings about OC, because certain mainboard has its unique character. But very welcome the user discusses on comments as below.
And sorry for the guys who prefer to watch my RC conversion ship tutorials, I would keep on updating. Great thanks!

@@dimitargliguroski5041 Cool, how could you calculate that? My plan is adding an electric meter to record the full load (CPU Stress Test) datas of whole platform in default and OC status, respectively. Interesting question. I haven't done the comparison test yet but I heard the fans did so. 4980HQ does with more buffer on OC but the 5950HQ performance is slightly better.
@AndrewKonin
@AndrewKonin 5 лет назад
Its all about price in the end, though broadwell going to be better if u OC its cores to 4.1GHz+ and ring to 3.7Ghz+. Some motherboards also allow u to OC L4 cache, like Asus, it boost performance even better(in games only though). Thing is u need 9-series for broad, and for 4980HQ u can use 8-series including cheaper chipsets like B85 etc.

I just purchased one, but am worried because it is an ES, was it stable to use? And was it stable at 4.2GHz?
@Hugo-ot7xu
@Hugo-ot7xu 5 лет назад
Choosing ES version is based on considering the cost. Currently, the 5th Gen mobile CPU is 'not that out of date'. So when applying them on re-fabrication, the cost is not friendly. Personally, I believe ES is reliable at least I surely it could pass all well known benchmark testing. For OC, forgive me being so conservative because I really don’t want to irresponsibly promise something which base on real circumstances of user. From most of buyer I know choosing this CPU working at 4.2 GHz is not a big deal. Say for 4.3 or 4.4 is also available but a good motherboard is definitely for a better chance on success.

It seems that the 4980hq is a better option as the multiplier may reach 46 instead of 42, and that chip has the same eDRAM advantage as this broadwell one. I haven't really seen a head-to-head between these two as most of the reviewers who are attuned to these special chips would rather test vs the more mainstream haswell or sky/kaby processors.
