Magic Review - Nightshade Project by Craig Petty 

I wish I had this - I have the Mirage and Apparition but this one is just too much for me at the moment - I am saving though but Craig keeps bringing stuff out which keeps denting my savings! 😂

I am VERY excited for a Craig Petty week! I really, REALLY want this set but it’s out of my price range at the moment. But Mr. Kueppers is awesome! I’ve spoken to him once or twice on the phone and through emails. I’m a nobody in magic yet he always makes time to answer my questions or schedule a repair for a gimmick. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some of Mr. Kuepper’s gimmicked coins before from Eric Jones’ Ellusionist release “Metal 3” and all his gimmicks are incredibly deceptive and well-crafted. Especially for the price! I might just have to look into an Affirm or something for this set though, the teaching sounds incredible! And from what I’ve seen on Mr. Petty’s channel, he chooses a lot of “workers” as they’re known.

I have the Half Dollar set, still working through the tutorials. Highly recommend.

How does this compare to Mirage and Apparition, which are his Two other coin sets?

I just ordered this yesterday from Alakazam. Enjoyed the Mirage Coin set! Really looking forward to this coming in the mail!

Craig is absolutely killing it. This looks great! Only downside for me is I’m in Canada. I think it would be suspicious if I only did coin magic with us coins

Is there any consideration for whether someone should go for half/full dollar coins?

Great set but at that cost I’d rather save a bit more and get Schoolcraft or Davies to make me some custom but the tutorials are priceless knowledge. Well I guess it has a price 😂

Awesome review! I’ve always thought that he is a great teacher so when you get one of his effects, you know he will cover everything. I know that you don’t do a lot of coin tricks but if you did do you have a preference?

David Sir , basis the description it appears the coin set is similar to Suc*er P*nch . Although the gimmicks here are real coins and there is is plastic. Technically , if we have the videos then we should be able to perform all the tricks using SP right ? your opinion

Really hoping I don't have to wait until Christmas to see these in giveaway! Been waiting to buy the ike version just wish the would have used a penny replica copper round instead of the liberty. Are the real coins real ?

Would love to see a Tutorial-DVD-Download-Standalone-Whatsoever-Version without the props. I love the idea of a fresh approach to coin magic... but... BUT, as mentioned before, there is the "language-barrier", in this case a "currency-barrier". For ME the most magical thing about coin magic is the fact, that all happens with the "most common everyday object known to mankind", the humble coin, that everybody knows by heart. Therefore, for me, as European, coin stuff with foreign currencies is more "juggling" then "magic", a little bit like sponge balls. Fun to learn, perform and see, but less "magical".

Yeah, that's a lot of money for $120 in coin gimmicks for special magic coins that are in nobody's pocket. I know, lots of coin magicians stick to American coins that nobody actually spends. I do not. Coin magic works better with borrowed coins. I have not done a trick with a half dollar since 1922 And then I'd have to listen to Craig Petty. To be fair I have been playing with coins for some time now.

Quality is the best when it comes to sets like this coin 🪙 magic is very intermediate level but with Craig petty knowledge and understanding it makes things easier
