I love coin magic and have several coin tricks "up my sleeve." I am incessantly searching for anything new in coin sleights. Danny Goldsmith isn't someone I have heard of before but watching the short clips you shared definitely has me interested. Thank you David for reviewing and sharing this with us.
I did it. I bought ALL of Danny's projects. It was expensive but I don't regret it at all. It's going to take many weeks and months of practice but I play an instrument and am used to putting in a lot of effort before seeing progress. I think what motivated me to buy this was my reaction which was so different from most coin magic I've seen. I know the coin is in the "other" hand. We all do! But when I saw his retention vanish I thought, wait...what?! I watched it over and over and I SAW the coin go into his hand and then poof, it wasn't there. THAT'S magic. I want to do THAT. The teaching is in depth and while certain things come up that he may not address, he addresses so much you feel like you've got a teacher that really cares about your progress. For me, my thumb never seems to fully do what it has to do. So I'll have to break that down without a coin and really look at how my fingers are moving. It already took me a week of casual practice before I realized my second finger wasn't in a position to do the job IT had to do which made my thumbs job harder. Anyway, if the end result of all your hard work is a vanish that looks as good as Danny's who wouldn't want to buy this?
You covered many good teaching points that Danny talks about (light, muscle memory, practice etc.) that makes this a great purchase even if you DON'T do coin magic. Thanks
I love Danny Goldsmith's work so much. I have all of his previous projects that I know of. This will go on my list. Reality is I have a ton of work left to do on his previous projects.
The vanishes look fantastic. Thanks for doing some coins. I have been focusing on coins lately because I neglected them for a long time. It takes a lot of practice, but is so rewarding. As soon as my money comes in I will be buying that download
It's well worth it. I will get it when this house sells.. boy.. too many cogs aren't working quite right on this sale and the sale is dragging on. New owners want in, we want out.
