J’ai hâte de tester ce mod (commandé mais en cours de production 😀) ça a l’air super quali et facile à installer et le prix n’est pas forcément plus élevé que les concurrents. En tout cas j’aime beaucoup votre initiative et que soit cette vidéo ou le fichier PDF que vous avez fait c’est super pro même pour ceux qui ont 2 mains gauches comme moi.

Very easy to install once the ribbon cable is off. Love the picture and glad I went with it. That ez guide, alignment bracket, an ease of install was what won me over vs the two other competitors. Just got around to installing it today.

That is a big a**s chisel for soldering these tiny things :O. I always struggle chosing the right tip for working on PCBs. I know bigger means better heat transfer but I would have never guessed they can be used so effortlessly for this job :). I always tend to go for smaller pencil shaped tips but tbh my soldering sucks and I don't know how many SMD parts I have destroyed because I needed to apply the soldering iron for a longer time because of the small tip. Thanks for showing how it is done!

I have yet to see a screen that scales it perfectly. All of these mods have scaling and shimmer issues. Also want to see a Lipo board for the Game Gear. The one sold by RetroSix has quality issues. It gets really hot. Likely due to the fact that RetroSix uses Chinese Parts. What i would really love is a lipo battery board for the Atari Lynx, it’s a shame that no such board exists. There was an attempt to create it, but it never followed through.

And for this version we slightly moved the connector up to have more loose on the ribbon cable 😁.

Where is the wiki for what to do if you have a bad pad as mentioned at 4:11? I checked the wiki page listed here and there's nothing available. Kinda disappointed with this I've done everything as indicated and have been completely unsuccessful at getting the screen to work. :(

I have a few questions: Why remove the 34v line? It doesn't appear to be connected to anything besides the cartridge port. Can the large transformer be removed as well? It takes up quite a bit of space and appears to be disconnected. What about L2?

We ask to cut the 34V line because that's what powers the whole OEM backlight circuit. If you cut it you don't waste energy on useless components in the circuit. You can remove the T1 transformer, since it's not powered by the 34V so wether you remove it or not it will have no effect.

Je viens de monter cet écran et bravo ! C'est très facile a monter, (encore plus que les concurrents) je n'ai pas eu besoin de la vidéo. @@tobiaskraft6695 because they no longer send orders, I placed an order for €170 more than 1 month ago and no package shipped, no response from them, they left the site open to steal from us and no longer process orders. I'm not the only one in this situation. stop buying from this site if you don't want to be defrauded. and RU-vidrs should stop advertising for a scammer
