I clean houses for a living and I have a tip for you on the grills if you will take them off and put them in a large garbage bag and spray them really well with the cleaner awsume from the dollar tree then close bag up and leave over night and it will wash right off no real scrubbing you need to try I do this in all my clients homes works for oven racks as well

I’m so glad this was the first video I watched. Seems like many other “solutions” to this grease problem involve ammonia, soaking overnight, etc. I can’t believe how easy this was. I went through the scouring stick pretty quickly, but that’s ok...they are pretty cheap and I think once I get the stuff off that’s been there for a couple years, I won’t go through it as fast. Awesome!

Putting the grate in a plastic bag and pouring in some ammoia and letting sit for a few hours. Once removed from bag most is so loosened a wet green pad with dawn and soda can get the remainder.

Andrea Jean, thank you so much for your cleaning tips. I had no idea I could use my scouring sticks to clean my stove burners. I've always struggled with soft scrub which even with a lot of elbow grease does not quite do the job. And the thing is, I've got a whole kit and kaboodle of those sticks. Thanks again.

How funny I cleaned my oven yesterday. I just sprayed vinager on it and let it sit for a couple hours. It worked amazing. Wow your stove is going to look brand new!

My boss ordered a box of these with the handles and put my name on the box! Ha, ha. I took what I needed for my cleaning cart and offered some to coworkers. I mainly use them for cleaning toilet bowl rings, but lately cleaned a stain from a stone floor and another stain on the concrete outdoors. Be sure to test a spot before proceeding. Thanks for the tip to clean the oven!

I have cast iron grates on my stove like a cast iron pan. No enamel coating. What is the best was to clean it? I’ve scrubbed, used tons of soap and always looks greasy and dirty. Was thinking on trying the ammonia in a bag, my grates are huge and heavy. I have a 36” stove . Thanks for any advice.

I use Mr. Muscle on the grates and stove top, spray it on leave 30 minutes, come back and most will wipe off.

Well, well well. I've tried cleaning my ceramic coated grates for the last 20 or so years with either baking soda and water, vinegar, ammonia, letting them soak in hot water and/or Bon Ami. Regardless of what I used, it always took me around an hour to get both grates clean. Though I really never let them get very heat stained... it still took a lot of elbow grease... UNTIL!!!... I saw this video. Pumie Scouring Stick did in 15 minutes what usually took me an hour to do. Never even knew about this product. I was sceptical at first because I was thinking 'how does it NOT scratch'? I went out and got some anyways and wow!!!... I still don't understand why it doesn't scratch considering what it's made of but it worked like a dream... without scratching. It's like an large pencil eraser for stains on ceramic grates (I haven't tried it on anything else yet 😆) I am glad I came across your video. Tell everyone to stop messing around with the baking soda, vinegar, ammonia or whatever else they use and give this Pumie stick a try, I think they'll be amazed. Maybe Pumie might sponsor you at some time. I'm surprised it's not more popular. Thanks again 😄

Faster method: soak in soapy hot water-then use Comet with the scouring pad- Then place in dishwasher

Neat idea! How does this work on cast iron grates? Your grates look like they have some kind of finish on them. Mine are cast iron and are textured and rough. Also, any hints on how to remove the baked on stuff from the actual gas burner? I can't remove them since they are the actual burner and I'm worried about scratching the cooktop surface. Mine is black and will show scratches.

Wow! And super cheap too😁 it's a $1 and change at Walmart. I have the stick but forgot I could use it on stove! I use it for showers or hard water spots.
