Maestro Kunnakkudiyaar!! His energetic and enchanting Violin!! Both have been mesmerizing me ever since my childhood!! The effervescent voice of Kunnakkudiyaar's violin is very rare to cascade out of any other violin!! He handles his beloved violin as a Child and it sings his swarams out merrily!! He even strums the chords as is it were a Guitar!! But Guitar just can't be compared to His Child!! Because a Guitar "Beats"; whereas Kunnakkudiyaar's Child "Flows, Cascades, Trickles, Rolls out ------ from the slowest Kaalam (even Athi Athi Vilambidham) to the peak fastest Kaalam (all the way up at Athi Dhrudham) effortlessly!! At times his Child vibrates all above around Human Audible range of notes (say above fifteen KHz!!).Really remarkable and mesmerizing!! A prodigal Bharadha Naattiyam Artist at her peak Kaalam is what I always visualize every time I listen to Kunnakkudiyaar!! She virtually dances on the Chords of His Violin!!
