Dear Mother I hope everyone is doing well back home. I just got that package with the two jars of peach preserves. Mm! Tastes like home. I miss you guys so much. How goes the autumn? Did they finally fix that loose cobblestone by the bakery everyone was fuming about? Did Henry work up the courage to talk to the baker's daughter yet? Not much to talk about here at the Citadel. Though, I did find some more suitable lodgings in the town than the novice dorms. There's this lovely little alehouse just outside the market square with an apartment overhead. I've eaten here since I first came to the Citadel and have gotten to know the owners quite well. Sorna and her husband Thom, the owners, remind me a lot of you and dad. Yes, Mother, I'm making sure to mind my manners and be a good tenant. They only charge four copper bits for the room a month in exchange for my help cleaning up the place in the evenings when I can. I do hope I can come home soon for a visit so I can show you all what I learned so far. I am no master, not yet, but you bet the good plates I will work to become a great one, one day. I will make you all proud! Love Lyra
As a college student with ADHD who routinely struggles on long study sessions, there is nothing I have found quite as amazing for helping me as your compilations (save perhaps my medications hahaha). There's just something so profoundly wonderful about taking the same old wrote assignments and recontextualizing them in the context of some grand quest, of some fantastical adventure still defined by the same late nights and afternoons filled with reading and writing. Thank you for bringing joy and wonder to the tedium which academic existence can so easily slide into 💖
I love how the town seems somewhat rugged, with one shop showing slight wear and tear. And that there's no trash anywhere on the ground. This town takes care of their people. 🥰 ✨️
Whenever you upload, I just can't stop myself from watching your amazing art and listening to your wonderfully well picked music. I've been here since the beginning, and I'll stay as long as it lasts. Thank you ❤
Blue Turtle, I'd been looking and looking for music that fit what I was doing, but all the "Writing and Studies" Music, or the "Music for Drawing" always got boring really quickly, and I sometimes spent half an hour looking for music instead of actually drawing or writing, so when I found your videos, I was so excited. Such beautiful music, and amazing art to match it. The only problem is I can't take my eyes off of the art! 😆Keep on doing this for a VERY, VERY, long time.
Blue Turtle never ceases to amaze, and in uncertain days of artificial intelligence ruining everything I'm beyond joyful they've stayed true and haven't wavered. Thank you, keep slaying ♥
This is super helpful for writing stories in a fantasy town setting! It not only has the vibes of magic studies, but also a festival on a bustling city street, or a thieving heist carried out by a band of rogues in a strange marketplace. The art is beautiful, too.
Recently found this channel, thanks for existing! I'm using this video to kick off studying for my comps. Best of luck to all the other students here, we got this!
No lie I've listened to this well over 10 times now. Every time I get on YT this video pops up and I just jam. Thanks Blue Turtle I remember your art tutorials and stayed for the ambiance.
When I'm overworked and have a big paper or a lot of reports to do, sometimes I'll put on one of your videos and pretend that I'm just a wizard's apprentice working hard in the ancient city. somehow it helps me get through every week. love your videos! ❤
Even as I study, the bustling aura of the market is something I find myself paying more and more attention to as I go on. A little boy I see gets to pay for the fruit at the produce stand-- proud of his achievment, he beams at his mother. Last I saw my brother, he smiled the same way, but rather when he got to work in the workshop with Da. It's the smile of growing up, and I'm sad to admit that I can only see it on the faces of other boys- and not my little brother. The baker is hard at work again- she seems to be a staple of the community. I had a loaf just this morning, it's perfectly divine. Her work is so rhythmic it's enchanting. I doubt she knows what happiness she can bring in a loaf. Mine reminded my of home. On days like this, I always wonder whether this journey is worth it, and the answer comes in the chatter of the marketplace.
Daang, the music in this selection in particular stands out to me! It's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! And it's uplifting but not too slow that you could fall alseep!
Another excellent video - I'm not usually this early to these videos, but I'm happy to hear what else you've been creating/compiling. Thanks again for sharing! 😊
Dude i had to finish a 6 page essay till the end of the week and was procrastinating so much. But once i put on your videos its like 💥poof💥 and brain works again. Thank you for your service i love these so much ❤❤❤❤❤
Man, I love this! You take us on a whole journey with all the great videos, the more videos there come the more I feel I have been in those locations! Thanks for the wonderful playlists!
Ugh, I can't believe it took me 11 days to get the chance to listen to this and check out the new artwork. 11 days. Love the bakery, and the hidden fact that it's a reverse on Ithya! Definitely worth waiting for a chance to enjoy this properly. Want to see what the face on the fountain is, too.
This is my favourite video until the end of time. Your animation is beautiful! and your choice of music is excellent and goes so well with the animation. As others have said, I've found all the AI being used on other playlist videos really annoying and boring - I have such a sense of story from this video alone! This is absolutely beautiful, I have subscribed!
Omg yayyy a video where she studies is just what I wished for!! Makes me kinda excited for when I have to study for exams again hehe. Love your videos so much!!
This art is stunning and mesmerizing to watch! It's so peaceful to watch and just be in the town atmosphere. Never knew how much I wanted something like this until I found your channel a while ago
Love the videos on this channel as they have different songs for a good hour, rather than just repeating one or two melodies over and over. Great stuff!
Just discovered this channel and it's the best thing I've found for a long time. It just transports you to another world. The art is stunning, I love it. Going to check out your other work ❤
I love the mountain scenery. Will you be showing the mountains in winter in a future mix? Can we see inside the huge temple? I built this city into my D&D world (party never went there). Awesome music and great animation, thank you.
Our Hero approaches the writing nook following a very tiresome excursion through the countryside. Seeking a quiet place to document one's travels while enjoying a nice meal is not always the easiest of tasks, but this bazaar happens to have a cozy-enough eatery tucked away off one of the main road's offshoots. The commotion of the public, haggling and squabbling over handmade goods, vegetables from a week's foot-travel away, cured meats, and the like - it was not exactly the kind of serene peace our Hero had anticipated settling for. All the same, though, there was a bizarre sense of calm in having this connection to others, even if it was a remote one. Every bystander, every shopkeep, even the urchins meandering the alleyways and begging for coin - they all have rich, untold tomes-worth of experience. Pensively daydreaming, caught up in the wonder of humanity all about them, our Hero concluded that documenting travels could wait. There were new stories to take in, and they were being told all around.
