@Cheeseman2271 ironically, it used to be common for people in the u.s. to use the word "football" the same way england and tons of other countries use it. gradually, the u.s. and canada began using the word "football" to refer to gridiron football. here's something from wikipedia: The United States of America Football Association was formed in 1913 . in 1945, it became the United States Soccer Football Association. In 1974, it became the United States Soccer Federation.
Our female budgie is like this out of her cage from the time she gets up , till bedtime, which is usually 10pm. and there is always one of us here, (her 'mum' or 'dad'). She has 57 toys, on a huge plastic playmatt, She loves DVD's, she loves Davros and the Daleks, she talks to them! Her toys are jingle balls, plastic boats, plastic rollers with bell inside, a toy docks with crane, that she works, climbing frames, you name it she has it! She will only drink bottled water. with ice cube in it.
Thanks for your kind comments he was a brilliant budgie , who kept us all entertained ,he started speaking very soon after we got him , when he got older you used to mix his words up !, pity we didn't video him going around scaletric 15 times sitting on the spoiler of the racing car .We have our fond memories of him he was a super little bird.
after seeing this, i decided to find out exactly what a budgie is. it's a nickname for "budgerigar", which is an australian kind of parrot. eventually some were bread in captivity in england. i get the feeling that budgies aren't so common here in the u.s.. maybe they're common here, but i doubt they are generally called "budgies" here.
I asked Google Assistant what she does on her days off. She said she watches highlight reels of her favorite soccer player. I asked who her favorite player is. She said this person and sent me to this video. Well played Google..... Well played
@coventrygardens In spanish, soocer is "Futbol" or something like that lol so yeah i sorta knew that but when i saw it in english i assumed it was american football, and what do they call american football in other countries?
@Cheeseman2271 furthemore, some varieties of football are called "rugby football", or just "rugby". these are associated with the english town "rugby". gridiron football developed from rugby. for a while, the u.s. and canadian forms of gridiron football were the same gridiron game, but the 2 varieties gradually developed different rules. even today the u.s. and canadian varieties are pretty similar to each other. likewise, australian rules football seems about halfway between soccer and rugby.
@Cheeseman2271 many languages ( including spanish ) use forms of the english word "football" when referring to what england calls "football", and it's the game that the u.s. and canada call "soccer". ( it was invented in england, and hence the use of words from english ) i'm not sure whether other countries have a general term for what the u.s. and canada call "football". i think some use words that mean "gridiron football", & it would be a reference to the gridiron pattern on the fields.
This is too cute! I have to ask, did you give him the caffinated coffee? lol im just kidding, but my goodness he has so much energy. He is a lucky little guy who has awsome owners who get him cool toys to play with!
we got magic at 4 weeks old and talked to him al the time we also played with him and soon he was doing all kinds he also went around the scaletric track on the spoiler of the car 13 times whistleing as he went but we never got it on tape which was a shame , check out his other video
@Cheeseman2271 the word "football" usually refers to the game that the u.s. & canada call "soccer". the u.s. & canada & maybe australia are nearly the only countries where the word "football" generally refers to a game that is not the one that the u.s. & canada call "soccer". the word "football" can be used for many games that involve contact between foot & ball. the word "soccer" is formed from the abbreviation for "association football", and that's the commonest kind of football worldwide.
I had a budgie i gave him a ball on a chain and after a month or so he worshipped the ball or saw it as his egg idk. But from then on that bird would do anything i wanted if i put the ball out. Dangle the ball over a cats head it flies onto cats head. Throw bird up a tree let it jump around show the ball and he comes straight back chitting. Im seriously considering budgies for my kids pets. Much easier than rodents rabbits or fish and more exciting. The only thing is with 2 the ball trick might not work since theyll have each other idk.
