@@danielmayer38 and? It was a Sometimes. The next big mistake was Mirrodin, and the next after that would be debated between New Phyrexia or almost every set after Kaladesh.
@@Graatand While still being a Battle of the Gods Standard between Hazoret and Scarab, other decks were still viable. Ixilan had the Rapters making Mono-Red hard to play against by turning off both axis of counter play, and Hazoret herself was dificult to deal with. Aside from the hiccups of that, it was the healthiest few months of Standard since the Khans/Theros Standard format.
Reminds me of the flavor text on Vizzerdrix. "A bored wizard once created a Vizzerdrix out of a bunny and a piranha. He never made THAT mistake again."
Fuck Kezzerdrix, all my homies play Vizzerdrix. Staple of every blue deck, the legend has it that its power level inspired WotC to implement Mythic Rares into the game
The one dislike must be the mail poodle after so many years of being a disappointment. Edit: well this is already outdated. I guess the poodle couldn't even deliver mail properly. Now I actually feel bad for him.
At the time of this commercial I was playing Decipher’s SWCCG. I still had my magic cards, I just didn’t play them and it was crap like this that made me not want to even touch those cards.
Okay, I can see how parents got a bit worried about the cult stuff back in the day lol. That practical-effects Kezzerdrix is crazy, and the "eat your friends" bit at the end is kinda on the disturbing side.
If you want a good breakdown on why parents thought that back in the day, watch "Season of the Witch" by Rhystic Studies here on RU-vid. This a pretty tame commercial tbh, and doesn't have any "satanic" imagery parents were up in arms about
YES MISTAKES HAPPEN AND WE END UP WITH A LOT OF STUPID SJW CARDS WITH GAY AND TRANS PEOPLE, AND BLACK CHARACTERS JUST FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING BLACK CHARACTERS
