This film changed my perspective on piano playing when I first saw it in high school. i'd been playing for 8 yrs, and had gotten tired of it. This film was so beautiful that I attempted some of its original music on my own piano, and this was definitely one of the hardest one. I was never able to play this one fluently, and today (8 yrs from high school), as I dug up my old piano sheets, found this piece, and started playing again - it's truly magical music that brings back so many memories!
Hi, the pianist is not unknown, her name is Gilda Buttà, an italian pianist who played all the music in the film ;) oh, and no, Mr. Morricone is not the composer but he has rearranged some piece for the film (for exemple the J.R.Morton music) and also this waltz
Just FYI this music is unplayable by any human beings unless u have really large hands that could cover 2 octaves on both sides. The covers that you could find on RU-vid are simplified versions AND slower than this. However this music is still my favourite piano piece up to now :D
+Shinji Hirota may I ask which part of this you feel is unplayable? as far as I'm concerned, this piece is indeed relatively difficult but pales in comparison to some other pieces which are indeed playable!
I've destroyed some of my all time favorite pieces of music by doing just that. Sometimes just learning a song changes the way it makes ya feel. Takes a long time of not listening to it before it comes back.
Can Anyone Please give me the link for the video where Playing Love has lyrics, that there is someone singing on the same tune. I can't find it my God. 😭😭 thanks a lot. 😢😢
