Thanks to a tip from a while back, I found 2 more rare Magic Wand car wash systems out in south St. Louis County. These appear to be very well maintained. The neXus keeps surprising me. It's design doesn't seem like it would be very effective (basically just a bunch of rotating sprayer heads). Yet somehow, it once again did a great job cleaning my car. I'm actually starting to like these systems.

Not sure if you ever found out but the triple foam was not actually retrofitted on. Magic Wand had Tri-Foam protectant or Tri-Foam Detergent as an option by the company. Also an interesting fact is the spray nozzles were manufactured by 3B industries, which is still In business to this day.

Istobal entered the US market by acquiring Magic Wand back in 2011. They sold the production tooling for their automatic equipment to QualTec LLC who still makes parts. QualTec apparently will still build new machines upon request.

i love the sound of Magic Wand pumps, its the same as on the Magic Spray washes, and, i love the sound they make. i just think its just better than others (still wont beat the StarWash PowerJet pump tho, and StarWash is a french brand, so you wont find any in other countries.)

This is the better one of the two you have visited. But those rocker panel sprayers should be looked at, only a few were working.

The Elevator Channel love this car wash when you drive in the sprayers to pull in the shower head is pretty cool and very powerful next time tell us what you can smell

There are 2 new express wash tunnels in your area that you should check out. One is an AVW hybrid tunnel (which has 2 top brushes, unlike the other AVW tunnels you have been to) which is located at Detail Driven Car Wash in Lake St. Louis (right by the Sonny's tunnel that you filmed). The other is a Motor City Wash Works tunnel (with a Dry 'n' Shine machine) at Martian Car Wash in Ellisville.

Definitely one of my favorite systems. There is one of these right around wausau WI. I flimed it once. But i plan to revisit it eventualy.

Yeah, there are a few silly elements in this system, which are the nozzles, and the top frame with the color circles that looked like they're advertising Coke Freestyle (except it says "neXus"), were there are no C-Store to be found in this property. Thirsty, anyone?! Even though, I like this clean, modern looking steel frame. It's very nice.

You basically NEVER see these with On-Board dryers. Most don’t even have dryers in the first place.

No, they're identical systems. Both are the same height and weren't intended as tall vehicle wash systems.
