As we traverse the well-formed track, the kids eagerly capture the moments leading up to the grandeur of the kauri tree. Standing at an impressive height of 50 meters (approximately 164 feet), this majestic tree becomes the centerpiece of our video documentation.
Upon reaching the wooden platform at the base of the kauri, take a moment to absorb its grandeur. For those seeking an alternative to the short, steep climb, a nearby track with a boardwalk offers a scenic route back to the main trail.

The platform seamlessly transforms into a boardwalk, weaving its way back down to the main track.
