How to Meditate Along with this Video?
Let the tips of your thumb and index finger touch.
Concentrate on the Throat chakra at the spot positioned at the neck region, near the spine. It is located at the base of the throat, in the V that is formed in the center of the collarbone.
Chant the sound HAM along with this Video.
What is Throat Chakra?
Also known as the 5th, or Throat Chakra, the Vishuddha is the centre that governs our speech and creative expression in the world.

It’s balance will determine how honest you are, and how well you can express yourself with the people around you. It is through this chakra that we speak our choices and through this, we discover that our choices, no matter how small or unimportant that they may seem, have consequences.
Physical symptoms of a Throat Chakra Imbalance:
Throat lump, laryngitis, sore throat, tonsilitis, teeth problems, thrush, jaw problems (tmj), earaches, ear problems, sinus infections, thyroid problems, athritis in shoulders, sore shoulders or arms, neck problems, stress - may also exhibit an alcohol or drug dependency.
If your throat chakra is in balance you will have no problem expressing yourself in the world! You will be very creative, helpful, and may be good at offering people sound advice when it is asked for. You know what you want out of life and you are not afraid to ask for it, and what you ask for always seems to come to you with no, or little effort on your part! You are not afraid to express your weaknesses and people respect you for this. You are truly free when you can speak your truth.

This just changed my life! I sometimes felt like I got choked. As I child I had problems speaking in front of even two people. I wanted to talk but as much willpower as I used, it just didn't work. When I started the meditation and said "Hmmm" it just felt like an ugly scratchiness in my throat. There was barely a sound. It took me the whole hour until my "Hmm" was vibrating in my chest. It feels like now I can naturally, deeply and freely breathe for the first time in my life! I feel so strong and alive! I just feel amazing now!!

Hey Lorena :) This is not "the one thing" that helped me. I had some years of personal development work, facing my fears. I even got into public speaking :P It took a lot of work though.

Thank you for this chant. Ive had a blockage of my throat chakra for a month now. Manifesting physical problems like throat pain, throat dryness, swollen glands and mucus build-up After 20 minutes of this chant meditation for a week and most of my systems have slowly diminished. Along with drinking plenty of clean filtered water and wearing a blue lace agate around my neck. Always having good intentions at heart and a clear mind. bless it be!

About 15 minutes into this one I started gagging 😅 which for me is a sign that I’m clearing a blockage of some kind. About thirty minutes in and it became more intense, then I started coughing out of nowhere. Dreaming of deeper healing for this chakra. I have a underlying fear that when I speak vulnerably in certain spaces I will be criticized. It doesn’t often stop me from speaking up but afterwards sometimes I will ruminate about what I said, feeling anxious or regretting opening up. I’m looking forward to not being stuck in that loop of fear and insecurity. Thank you 🦋

Amazingly powerful meditation! I was suffocating as if there is a physical blockage on my throught before i begin to meditate. During meditation i burst into tears for some time. Along my journey i realized that the most dangerous things to this chakra are smoking (Any kind of smoke like cigarettes, marijuana, etc.) i felt a huge block when i used to, and that make you vulnerable to lower entities, because the weakness of neck and throat are the doors to any kind of this lower entities. Don't smoke and you'll be free, blessings and love :)

Isaias Ch R not necessarily for marijuana there are studies out proving the lung improvement of marijuana smokers I am asthmatic and have seen improvements in my own lung capacity and I smoke weed. Plus, cultures all over the world have been using it for its medicinal and spiritual benefits (smoking, topically, internally)- it’s only bad when you attach negativity to it.

@@themakingsofmahogany1201 marijuana smoking definitly effects your throat. Im not saying is bad im just saying for all thats positive about it there are also negatives. People will take a bullet for weed. Everyone is so fanatical about it because it is being brought so much into the public eye for its positive qualities. I mean think about it...lots of people cough like crazy when smoking weed. Even if thats not your experience, it is really undeniable that in general it is not usually good for your throat area. Even so, if one were to smoke and do something to improve their throat chakra, they may be more successful than they would if they hadnt smoked. That could be said for many drugs though. They make things work more powerfully like these videos.

Alan Tate I’m basing my statement on the original comment being how bad it is for the throat chakra, as a certified energy healer, smoking marijuana and other herbs is actually beneficial for the throat chakra obviously long term use and abuse of anything has problems associated with it. But to make a general statement that marijuana is bad is fallacious.

@@themakingsofmahogany1201 i actually have thought a little about this and juat because it makes you cough possibly doesnt mean its not good for your throat. Herbs that are smoked in order to clear mucus out of throat and stuff actually make you cough in order to get the stuff to come up and they can be very violent coughs. My point is that the conclusion I drew may not be valid

Thank you very much! Just when started listening to this shivers ran down my whole body, felt paralyzed for a moment, just like we used to jump into pile of snow after sauna at winter time back home. It hurt. And then bursted into tears don't know why, but it felt so pure, even seems easier to breathe, my chest feels lighter and that chill and shivers running up my spine. This brought me back to where I was 4 years ago, to my true self. Thank you kindly for putting this up as now I can tell the truth to myself about myself. Been ill for a few days with cough from lungs & itchy throat. Went to Dr. Still not improved. So I figure it’s my throat chakra or heart chakra or both. IT’S CHRISTMAS. I have things to do! Sounds like they are chanting HUM actually...which is the sound that opens the lower part of the throat chakra. HAM opens the upper part, as I understand it. The two sounds are close but not identical, as you know if you are a student and lover of vowel sounds and the subtle differences between them.

Depends on which language - in Swedish for instance, ”HAM” is phonetically correct to the vowel they’re chanting. ”HUM” would be a much more closed sound, see if you can find the pronunciation of ”humla” (bumblebee) in Swedish and you will understand. :)

Hello. Very much thanks, toothdoctor put steel in my mouth i have this since 15 years(now 21) it make my jaw develop no further and other jaw double develop. I take this out now and all this chakra with om, yam and ham is my lifeforce.

the chant focuses the vibration in the throat, vibrations have many qualities but mainly they have healing properties. much like when you get a back massage it sends vibrations through the muscle releasing tension

It works because we're not only physical, but also have other bodies, etheric and astral and it's through the chakras (organs that are like wheels) in those subtle bodies in other dimensions that energy is released to the Universe from our higher self and that causes different effects in our life. By chanting Ham, you're causing the kundalini energy, the energy of our true self, to rise from the coxis to the Vishuddha chakra, since it's a sound that makes the chakra rotate.

+Aida BONTEA I really felt the sound resonating through my throat when I chanted this. Good thing is, I know it wasn't just happenstance; when I did the third eye chant, I didn't feel anything there. My mind seemed to have calmed and increased it's power in processing. I even beat a level I was stuck in while playing a pc game and the third eye chant video. With this one, I felt my throat clearing up, even though I'm not suffering from any sickness with throat symptoms. This stuff might be the real deal. :-)

Yes these both chakra are connected. In energy systems there is always pairing between chakra - one from upper triangle and other from lower triangle. Similar pair is root and third eye. Working on both two ensure counterbalance each other and energy as whole in system.

According to chinese medecine, pork is the meat related to the kidney's energy, So that's why there are so many meals including pork in the chinese diet. Kidney's energy is the most important energy of the whole body and mind. The kidney's pulse is the very one that any competent acupuncturist will check...But pork and ham are very different, the second one, ham, has been processed in so many ways with chlorine and other chemical stuff in order to get its approval by the FDA...But chanting HAM has no bad side effects!!!

@@jeandesaulniers9711 Eating pork has some really bad "side effects" for the animal called pig, and not caring about the lives of other sentient beings WILL bring the URNed reward for men of earth, who only apply the word 'health' for humanocentric/egotistical purposes. Nothing healthy about that. In fact it doesn't get more UNhealthy. P+

Thank you so much for this!!This was my first time and I cried a lot while I was meditating I guess my throat chakra was/is really blocked. Also, I felt some pression at my chest, not in the middle it was at the level of my shoulders, should I be worry? And my last question, I am not sure if I end it correctly, should I do something specific at the end? Thanks again!!
