I made a list of the colours she uses if it will help anyone... 105 Cobalt Turquoise 920 Light Green 938 White (or Luminance 1) 901 Indigo Blue 919 Non Photo Blue 913 Spring Green 909 Grass Green All are Prismacolor Premiere
very creative love the blues and greens coming together and to top it the tips edges with the white made come to life thank you for sharing have a bless day love and colorful hugs
I loved how this turned out. So vibrant. Didn't love the camera angle though, your thumb prevented seeing you coloring most of it. Great coloring and awesome idea with the kraft paper!
Just wonderful! I could say lots more about how fab this stunner is - but that kinda covers it. I'm so impressed by your artwork. You really are exceptional you know! 👍💕😍
Gorgeous 💗 as always, Julie. Let me tell you that after seen this beautiful video of yours I must order that white Luminance pencil. 😉 Looks amazing, looking forward to try it myself.
I was looking for blues and greens for my next picture. Thanks for sharing. I always get great combinations from you. Do you have a list of your favorite combos? Beautiful work as usual!
Wonderful tutorial, as always....only thing is you do need the White Luminance to achieve similar results.... the white Prisma doesn't even come close...
+Linda Carreira not really i think, wanted to save the prismacolor a bit, this is my first test on craft paper so didn't compare much white pencils yet 😉
+Julie's passion for coloring Thanks for your quick reply, Julie..I had heard from someone else that the Luminance was more opaque than the Prismacolor, therefore colored better, but haven't compared the two myself. I enjoy your coloring very much, and thanks so much for showing the colors you use. You're work is beautiful.
I'm not sure if that is why the Caran D'Ache luminance white pencil is superior but there is no question in my mind and eye that it is. You can buy the pencil individually on Amazon.
I'm thinking too that the Caran D'ache luminance white pencil is brighter than the Prismacolor white. You can buy the individual pencil on Amazon for $7.14 which qualifies for Prime. I just ordered it. The cost of buying the whole luminance set is prohibitive for me so I'm especially happy to find this.
This may be a dumb question but how did you obtain the image from the book. Did you scan it or have the book made (or purchased) as an electronic version?
Wow, that was a quick response, thanks for that :) Meh, every time I buy some colouring items, I say "ok no more, that is it" ... Until I see the next thing I want. Next on the list is eraser pencils for fine erasing of booboos and some of this brown cardstock for one of the butterflies. I need to win lotto!
+Kate O i know the feeling ☺️☺️😂 if i may give you some advice, i have a pencil eraser but really not happy with it and very difficult to sharpen... Now i bought another thing: tombow EH KUR 11 ... A bit harder but Very detailed !! Really go search for the thing!! 😉😉
Hey Julie :) I looked them up and they look like they have a very fine tip? I think it said 2.3mm? The other thing I wonder, is how does it treat the paper, does it damage the tooth or rub through to the other side? Of course that would be dependent on how hard it would be rubbed on the paper, but some erasers are rougher than others
