Even with ALL the stress and anxiety you go through, prepping these parties there is SO much love and care that goes into this that is admirable. The sense of accomplishment and pure victory when its finished and ready to enjoy and that sweet angels face when she is able to see and enjoy her special mermaid party is priceless. As a curly haired sis who loves to swim, I feel like I need to share this tip that I recently learned about with you for you & Ziyas hair - to avoid/decrease the amount of chlorine your hair absorbs, saturate/wet your hair in the sink/shower before going into the pool. Google the reason why, too lazy to write it out lol. Congrats on the pool! Nothing like black folks that enjoy swimming. I’m a black folk who loves swimming so I can say that lol.
