😢Denise….i am glad you’re letting all those feelings out in ways that you need to, in order to cope 😢 I’ve noticed that as I get older, I have those moments of memories, happy memories which lead me to tears. Especially when I am looking through pics of my mom and my kids when they were little. We all grieve in our own ways❤❤😢😢HUGS!!!

Oh my goodness... somehow I missed this. I definitely needed to see this this morning. Grief is a sneaking thing... just around the corner all the time. Hugs to you my friend!

Im a crier, too. Always have been. And I understand you wholeheartedly. I get like that with my oldest daughter. Ever since she moved out, every now and again (especially when im already a little depressed) whenever we part ways, it almost feels like a punch in the gut. An emptiness sweeps over that is unwarranted but hits like a semi. You aren't alone and you are loved and prayed for!

Empty nest was/is tough. My kids live not too far from us but I miss them every day.

Denise, hugs to you. I know how it is to get caught up in overwhelming emotions. Im a acrapbooker also, and i have an 18 year old daughter. I was diagnosed with leukemia while inwas pregnant with her, and i was hospitalized until just before her first nirthday. I have not yet scrapped her first year album. I know ive been avoiding all of those emotions tied into that time in my life. Our lives, and i can understand how you are feeling. My heart goes out to you. ❤

Oh my dear, thank you for sharing. Listen I haven't scrapped the first year of either of my kids! AND I didn't have such intensity going on. Give yourself some grace. How about putting the photos in an album that holds 4x6 and calling it good for now? Maybe someday you will want to revisit that time, but for now you could honor your daughter by gathering the photos into one place and honor yourself by not taking on too much?
