This week I wanted to share some New Year superstitions, as well as some ways to ring in the New Year if you don't necessarily resonate with this time associated with goal setting. Thanks for being here and watching!
Randomly just found your channel and watched this video….on the same day that my woodland wardens deck arrived in the mail. Affirmations from the angels. Your videos are beautiful. Keep making them! I’m definitely a subscriber now!
I completely agree with what you! I usually start my "new year" when the astrological new year starts, so march 21st! also aaaah that oracle deck is so beautiful!!
Hi Leah. I'm a remote worker too! My office is 2,500 miles away, so I only see my team once a year. What has helped me immensely is to cover my office area with a tapestry (or pretty linen/lightweight cloth). Since my desk is in the living room and has two monitors, the covering helps me mentally separate. Of course make sure you aren't creating a fire hazard. You can find a tapestry that adds to your aesthetic. The process of covering my space is a mental trigger to end my work day and leave "work at work" even when work is in the living room. Blessed be.
I don’t set solid intentions/goals until Imbolc. January is for me a liminal time of deep reflection, shadow work etc. I do physically clean my home & spiritually/energetically cleanse it too in the New Year.
I like to do a divination to introduce the new year also… and I used The Embroidered Graveyard oracle deck… and I pulled an insightful, inspirational card. Thanks!
