Hi! Blessed Be to you, my Goddess! This is a lovely video & I truly enjoy it when you discuss how special books can be in our lives. Books, certain TV Shows, Movies, etc. can bring us toward the Pagan world more than we think - we just have to know where to look. I'm a reader - Ann Rice (all of it), of course, any educational book about Wicca, Witch history, Pagan history, Goth history, etc. But also Movies like Nosferatu from the 20's/the quintessential Vampire film of all time & Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire with it's gorgeous haunting soundtrack & Cinematography which is what grabs me, and even the scenes of the Twilight Series which so many don't like but I found very sultry because I love atmospheres with tons of rain, fog & redwood trees - this is in an area where I was raised so it calls to me. I read the Interview Series twice during a long time of being snowed in far into the mountains in a small home all alone with no means of heat as our wood stove required an electric starter! But it was magical to read by candlelight all night long in my Victorian 100 year old Iron bed. Things like that don't happen to us all the time. I also began my history of Witches research back then which is extensive now - I believe in recognizing & celebrating those who came before us because they deserve to be respected for their condemnation for simply being connected to Nature. And now I am working on my environment because it definitely needs to look like yours - my books scattered everywhere - HA! I love you much! hugs

I love your videos. Always awesome. Crimson Fyre and Kelly-Ann Maddox totally changed my life. I think one of the first videos I saw by Crimson was “when the going gets tough, the witch gets witching”. I struggle with some pretty bad mental health disorders and I’ve carried this attitude with me ever since. My practice has become my home and my haven. It’s brought me so much stability and I could not be more grateful.

I do love Madame Pamita's Candle Magic Book, but it's the only one I have by her. I too saw that Baba Yaga Book and thought of you. I absolutely LOVE the cover of it. Love the VLog Style Vids lately, A Peek into a Witch's Day! Loving it! When you mentioned Harlots in our Chat, I couldn't remember if I had seen it. But yes, I have. It's a GREAT show! Your skin is RIDICULOUSLY Amazing! It's like Perfect! JEALOUS We always have to remember Practice comes first, RU-vid Second. I know I've been there before, Sometimes we get caught up and have to bring it all back down to earth. We all love Vana! She's One in a million, You can't find anyone like her anywhere on this planet. She's Brilliant!

Rebel Witch is such an important book that I believe needed to be written... your witchcraft & spiritual practice is YOURS and not enough people are saying that or encouraging individuality, experimentation & ultimately doing what works/feels good for you. Really enjoyed this video. It was like sitting down and listening to a friend chat about her life and stuff. Thanks so much for sharing. I used to have a collection of books like that, that wasn't witchy related. Decided to donate some of them to our neighborhood little libraries, sell them to Half Price Bookstore and donating to thrift stores too. I mean for years me and my mother gathered a lot of books over the years. I miss some of my books but I started collecting new ones, lmao. I am reading Rebel Witch as well, although I have it on my Kindle and not paper. I might just get it, so I can physically have it. Again thanks for sharing with us. Love how you redid the upper shelves.

I just love your updates, they are one of the things that are really invigorating me on RU-vid and inspiring me to be here more. The kitties are looking adorable as always. Also, I will totally be here for an eyebrow video if you do you. You've got serious eyebrow game. I love what you said about when we read so much, sometimes we can almost untether ourselves from the roots of ourselves that define our practice. Such an important note. Aside from one book, I've been reading more nature magic or witchy adjacent books which has really helped that spark also. Anyways, good to catch up with you as always.

You mentioned that you trained yourself to be self motivating, I’m wondering if you might like to speak on that more in a future video? Self motivation is something I’m constantly trying to work on and I struggle with it a lot, I’m curious to know any tips you might have! I am also finishing up the Simon Necronomicon, currently reading Satanism and Devil Worship by Aleister Nacht, Consorting With Spirits by Jason Miller, several small books on British Traditional Witchcraft-Gemma Gary, Owen Davies, along with The Book of St. Cyprian (over 700 pages-edited by Humberto Maggi).

I'm about 3/4 through Night Circus and it is blowing me away. The author's inagination is mind boggling, on par with Haruki Murakami. I bought it last month while on vacation in Scotland and admittedly it took a bit to get into it. Now I'm reading it so slowly because

It’s a motivating book regardless of how long one has been practicing. And also a good read for when your practice might need tweaking or a spark.I felt the same about Psychic Witch. Side note I used to love your and Fire’s road trip vids. Keeping a part of practice that is yours and yours alone. Folks in the public eye,teach etc…I would imagine that would be a difficult dance. I see to have hair in almost every color at one point in time. Not so much now. I’m on a dreadlock journey. One year and 2 months in. Edit: I was thinking about the kitties and there they are!!!!!! 🐈‍⬛🐈 No special code word today? Lol. Take car friend💜

It is like we are always learning new ways in life and the witchy life as well. I love learning and I love reading when I can. I tend to read my books in the commercials when I am catching up on my shows or when I am having breakfast out that one day a fortnight. If I got the time I might go up the road and I a friend is busy I would read my book up there as well. Like me I can only do my mini rituals for the time being. But I know that one day my time is coming and that I can be able to do longer rituals. What is the name of that book as I could add it to my wishlist. Stay safe and Blessed be.

I totally feel that with the feeling of kinda being lost on where to go with your practice. The important thing for everyone I think is to really grab all the info you can and really make it your own. Use what you’ve learned as tools or whatnot but don’t feel that’s the only way to do something. Books encouraging one to use their own imagination to create is always the best way even tho it’s helpful to start by trying out someone else’s spells or whatever. Rebel witch sounds like a good read! I really loved Laura Zakroffs “Weave The Liminal” . Such a good book and good recommendation for people starting out. As always, love your videos! ❤

I know exactly what you're meaning about your practice. Just think whenever you feel like you're not doing enough.. You are surrounded by magical energy. It's in you and all around you all the time.. (And can i just say, WOW😍 that room!) P. S. LOOOOVE Rebel Witch.. One of the best I've ever read. I'm currently reading A Dabblers guide to witchcraft by Fire Lyte and I'm loving it.
