Me: -trips, falls, and whacks my head on the ground then gets up spills water all over the carpet and cries- Annie: Looks like someone needs a little happiness 💖 (This was some truly perfect timing ☺)
One day I will live in a similar home, I will grow blackberries in my garden and bake these puffs while watching your beautiful videos 😍🧡 Hopefully soon!
Oh wonderful! I believe very strongly in your dream and I wish you the best of luck in achieving it! Anything really is possible if you decide that's what is going to be
Hi Annie! Having grown up in Virginia Beach, I always look forward to your videos, so I can hear you say "but anyways". I only ever heard my Virginia friends say that. LOL! All joking aside (or should I say, "but anyways"), I started watching you when a friend shared your first Daughter of Old video on Facebook back in May. That's around the same time my youngest daughter (14) said she was interested in witchcraft, so I started watching your videos so I could understand what she was "getting into". Not only have you alleviated any concerns or misconceptions I might have had as a parent, I found that I ended up becoming a genuine fan of you, your art, your craft(s), and of the energy you selflessly share. I also truly appreciate your honesty and vulnerability with regard to your struggles. Your videos slow me down and bring me calm in the evenings after the long tiring days of this weird time we live in. I am so grateful for what you have brought to our lives through your channels. I hope that our fandom is of benefit to you as your work is of benefit to us. Thank you!
Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to say that and it means a lot to hear. part of the reason I wanted to create videos was to debunk the misconceptions and I'm very glad that my videos have been able to help in that arena. And beyond that I really appreciate all your kindness, you truly have made my day! thank you! Haha also I am very glad that my "but anyways" is understood!
I just want to say all of your recipes are definitely going into my book of shadows at some point for my own experimentation. I’ve been following you silently for some time and you’re always so motivating and inspiring to me that extends to more than just finding my path in Wicca. Any little bit of that motivation I can hang onto, particularly when things get tough, is something I treasure. Thank you for existing and sharing your life and practice with us.
I stumbled across your other channel a few days ago, And to my great surprise, I found my.self in a relaxed peaceful place. A place I have not been in a very long time. So, now as part of my morning meditation I watch one of your vidros. It sets my mood for the day. Thank you, Be blessed.
Holly Molly, it took me a century to make it and ate them in a split second. Should have left the cream thicken more but it was a noble 1rst run! Thanks a bunch, Annie. Hugs from Germany.
Annabel, I loved your video on your other channel about your personal health struggles. Makes me not feel so alone about my autoimmune disease. Thank u. You are wonderful.
I love your videos. You bring such peace to my heart and mind. Your healing energy definitely translates through your videos. I have been practicing Green Witchcraft since I was a child (though I didn't have a name for it yet) and I was born with weak and untrained pre-cog and empathic abilities that still affect me. I used to walk barefoot in the grass to feel the earth's energy travel up my legs, and I would lay my hands on trees or plants and say prayers or give thanks. My parents definitely thought I was a weird kid but they did their best to support me as Christians. To this day I still do these things but I can't use a label around my folks because the term "witch" means evil in their eyes. Just recently I have finally had the courage to start actual deliberate practicing on a daily basis and I finally feel like that lost puzzle piece that has fallen into place. Self-acceptance is so important. Thank you for sharing parts of your life with us. It really matters.
Vlog made me hungry. Its 7.30 am in London. Been up for a few hours already and just find your vlogs like a kinda meditation a great way to start my day chilled. Urgh 😷 for the love of simplicity and peace. Wishing anyone reading this love peace and joy always.
Ohhhhhh girrrrrl , you need a bake shop . I would totally come visit it , all the way from Missouri . Love love love your videos !! Have a great day !! 💜
How healing my soul is when i see your videos including your beautiful voice. You really inspire to me to enjoy every part of my life, including the cooking, the gardening and also enjoy very simple things like the ligth of the sun the smell of the plants, the smell of the food, the touching of the paper from the book I'm reading. Really keep going. My God bless you always by the way I'm working with my ancestors too I have a geanology tree of my family I have until my six generation both sides of my mom and Dad so keep working in your geanology you will see blessing for knowing your ancestors. Hugs from Guatemala.
My two favorite pastry/beverage “flavors” are blackberry and lavender, all the better if they’re used together. I’m so pleasantly gobsmacked to see you post this recipe. 😭🥰
Watching you cook in this video somehow makes me believe you must live in an Elder Scrolls Oblivion universe, like...😊🥰 Your house, your cooking, and you calm really transports me.
I hope to be like you when I grow up. I mean I'm 22 but still I'm growing and now I have figured out some goals. I'm excited and overwhelmed with all that I want to/need to learn. - how to cook/bake and veganize it - herbs/herbalism - grow my art skills Seems small but there is a lot to it! Scared but excited. Thank you for making such peaceful, and informational video's.
I love both of your RU-vid channels. Thank you for being a beautiful, soothing escape in this crazy, bizarre and frustrating time in life. LOVELY videos. 💖💜💙💛💚
For lavender syrup: I watched the violet syrup video and it was very helpful. I just don’t know the quantity exchange for lavender. I only have dried lavender, so do you have an idea for how much to use?
The only way I could possibly adore you more is if you barked. Thanks for another well-timed, mood-lifting video...and kisses sent from Cooper (who does bark).
I have made this pastry (cream puff) before. It’s absolutely delicious. So I bet your version is super gorgeous with lavender flavour. I am growing lavender at my garden. Hope it gives me lots of flowers. Have a lovely day...😘
This channel has inspired me to make so many things I wrote off as too time consuming or too difficult - the meringue hand pies definitely come to mind here! The focus on the beauty and intention of the process makes a difficult recipe so much more manageable and enjoyable
I'm so happy to hear that! I definitely understand being a bit apprehensive about undertaking projects like this but you said it perfectly! working with intent makes it something joyous instead of overwhelming
Love this, loved the way you did this video with you talking mostly so we can see you instead of all voice over and music. Makes it more personable. The mix was so nice to see.
Green Witch is so inspiring her creative recipes are so beautiful 🦋🌿🌾I would love to live in a cottage for a few weeks as a getaway wow 🌙Thanks for sharing This Recipe from a fellow witch 🧙♀️
I love watching your videos to start my day. It's a good way to get into a peaceful mindset. My personal practice has been a bit of a weeble-wobble recently, mostly due not finding my center during these crazy times (I'm a journalist, so impossible to get away), but I do find myself at ease each time I set out to cook or bake. I suppose my kitchen witchery lately has been all about 'keep me focused and calm, and make others happy.' I think it's been working for the most part. ☺️
thank you, I'm so glad to hear it! And I agree, when I am feeling a bit lost in my practice cooking and baking is always what helps pull me back to center and I'm glad it's been working for you that way as well
How absolutely lovely are these! The colors and rich tones in your videos are always so pleasing to the eye. I’m going to try this tonight before the Full Harvest Moon tomorrow☺️ Going to try to swap out the sugar for an alternative and cross my fingers it still comes out beautifully🙏🏼
I made your blackberry jam! It came out a little too thick but I just cooked it too long. I was afraid it would be too slack. Thank you for sharing these videos. ♥️♥️ That jam recipe is my new favorite.
I have a beautiful lavender syrup that I made already! it’s not purple like yours but it’s beautifully golden and potent. I’m gonna try and see if I can veganize this - it’s gonna be a challenge but I’m excited to see if I can get it! I’m gonna think about tackling it for a while.
Those look so delicious, no wonder they would bring happiness to anyone who eats them! The mix between the cream and the jam must be a delight. Oh, and that final touch with the lavender syrup... It's like eating a gift. My berries loving heart is a bit sad it won't get to see the recipe for a blackberry pie until next year, but you've given us plenty of things to try our hands at and cook. You can bet I'll be here waiting for that pie recipe next year! Or any pie to be honest (I have a sweet tooth if you cuouldn't already tell). I hope you're doing well too. Have a magickal week, Annie!
Oh thank you! You're so kind! I am a bit sad that I wont be crafting the blackberry pie until next year as well but I just don't think it would be the same unless it's done with berries in season but I'm looking forward to when I can craft again! And I have a sweet tooth as well so I may just have to figure out some other kind of pie to craft here soon! I hope you are well and thank you!
Hey Annabel! You're such a sweet, amazing soul. I love your videos and in each one, my eye always catches those cute little ceramic bowls, such as the one with the little pouring spout at 0:42. Not only are they eye appealing, but look very durable as well. Can you share where you purchased your little ceramic bowls/other cookware if you don't mind?! Sending you so much peace, love, and light my beloved 🙏💖
I love your videos. So useful! I am a baby witch myself. When you put your intentions into your baking, or whatever you're directing your energy to, how do you know if you're doing it long enough? And do you think of your intentions during the whole process as you're baking? I just want to be sure I'm doing it long enough..haha. Thank you!
Hi I have a question I'm very late but I was watching your video on samhain and just wondering if you have to be wiccan or can you just practice witchcraft and not be wiccan thank you
Hi Annie, I try to watch all your videos. But, I apparently missed the one where you talk about your new journey and why you won't be cooking. Do you mind explaining again, please.
This is a great video. I'm heading to the beach at the end of the week so I'm not baking this week but I'm looking forward to trying this when I get back. Hopefully mine will turn out as nice as yours.
hello, just a witchy question. when making a spell for someone else (like to keep them safe and give the spell bottle to them), is there anything you need to do in your spell to make sure it protects them and not you? like are spells personal only to the person who makes them? I love your videos and you've really helped me :)) hope you see this xx
I hope I can give a little insight, witchcraft is all about intentions. While you’re doing a spell for someone else, focus on the intention (protection, success, happiness, etc) as it relates to that specific person. For example you could say out loud (or in your spirit) “Give (person) the happiness and joy that they bring me” or “protect (person) from all physical, emotional, and spiritual harm”. Sorry it’s wordy but I hope it helps!
I absolutely love your recipes. I made an apple pie on Sunday with caramelised cinimum apples with the intent of protection. Hope you are feeling better. Stay safe ❤
I recently came across your channel and I honestly love it. I am very very interested in a detail version on how you learned herbs and maybe a few tips and tricks. I love the lifestyle and the energy you give ❤️ I can fully understand everything you say and it is very calming. I wouldn’t greatly appreciate it. Maybe you can do it on Paytron
Hi Annabel good to see you you look beautiful I wanted to tell you that I made rose petals and lavender simply syrup I love it thanks for the wonderful idea
Thank you! And yeah potentially, there are a couple of things that I would probably prefer to keep just personal in my practice especially as it's a bit hard to be connected to what you're doing magickally while trying to film it but I would be open to trying to film it more to share
