If you are playing with a friend you can combine death beam spells to something really powerful or if you use a life beam and he uses a death beam you'll actually create a kind of spell nova bomb that does A LOT of damage, takes some time for it to explode but totally worth it. Also you can create different elemental effects with this nova, so far my friend and I have discovered a steam nova, ice nova, poison nova, and lightning nova. Just have to use apposing elementals in your beams. water/life beam hits a ice/death beam and you'll get a crazy ice nova.

cheers! Yeah looking at doing that soonish. a lot of them are things like 'complete the challenges' but I'll definitely do a storyline unlock one I think :)
if you take suggestions i recommend making separate videos for unlocking all staffs swords and robes. I've yet to find a video on it. but again just a suggestion

how did you leave a crystal firing the death laser behind? on the PS4 the death laser is casted from the staff. And also, how did you enter ice and water without them becoming ice?

Can only be cast from the quick cast option and will essentially use whatever spell combo you have in front of it (there is also an AOE one) This video is out dated and was made before the Spell again AGAIN update. +randolph rosenberg ... you realise the life heal enemies right?? The only time you should use life in your spells is if you're fighting undead and demons. Otherwise if you replace the life with Arcane then I agree, powerful spell :) try adding steam as well "QFRASE"
Hi, thanks for your video. I have a question, how do you cast the permanent Beam spell at 3:31 ? I can't find the right buttons to make the Staff shoot by himself.
AzNWizzy Hi there. The thing I used at 3:31 is actually an in game 'Magik' so similar to the ice wind and haste etc. It is called a directional prism and you unlock it doing the trials (trial 3 or 4 from memory). (and AOE prism is also unlockable which works the same) Once you have it all you do is que the elements for the attack you want (beam or projectile tend to work best) then activate the magik and that prism will pop up casting whatever elements you had :) Sorry I didn't explain that in the vid. On the menu screen before starting the game you can click on your name, then click Equipment. You can change your Staff, Robes and Melee weapon there :)
+Glenn Kievit Hey interesting. I have only ever played on a computer. First make sure that you're actually using electricity (easy to accidentally cancel out ey) Otherwise it's possible that the elemental precedence on a console has been altered a bit. Maybe try an electric life combo as well and see what happens. I have to re do this guide since the Learn to spell again again update. So it's entirely possible it has changed. Stay tuned and I'll get a new one up soon and maybe address this in that :)
+SmallGame Adventures btw did you know that if u cross opposite element beams like life and death ( you use death a friend uses life beam and you make them collide) they will explode where they hit after a while and is really strong
yeah. that's a multi-player tactic though, that I might cover if I end up doing a multiplayer tips and tricks vid at some point. It's possible to pull off on your own using the prism magik, but the amount of time it takes makes it not entirely worth it. :)
Haha it's a Magik. You get it from doing the challenges. I think completing challenge 2 unlocks it? not entirely sure which one... But you can't cast it with elements, it's one of the two spells that can only be quick cast :)
ice doesn't actually produce an elemental effect, but frost will slow. if you're using fire and frost together with your mate they will be canceling each other out. better off only using one.
