I appreciate that you showed us how easy it is to put the e-bike together. I ordered 2 Magicycles today. One the White step-thru and the other one is a blue step-over. Both are 52 volt with the 20 amp LG battery. Hopefully I will be able to get out on the bike again. I'm 70 and need to use a cane to walk.
70 and the cruiser🤔 that's like me 65 and the cruiser🤔 this is a very powerful bike, it has afforded me: a fractured wrist,arm,leg and both hips. After many months of recovery I got back on it and road 18 miles today . Be safe
I purchased the midnight blue and white step through last Nov 22 - 2021. Magi is a GREAT bike with all the nice features, Customer service is awesome! My only gripe is the on going upgrades. My bike was the older version while my wife's white step through was upgraded. (clock feature on the controller, different pedal sprocket (now has a inner chain keeper plate), rear rack redesigned for easier removal, wrap around "chain guard" on lower frame. Both bikes ordered at the same time - just rec'd old & new stock. Wish I was given an option. Now Magi is selling the add on skid plate for the under frame mounted controller. A bit over priced for a piece of plastic in my opinion. i just sent C.S. a pic of my BASH Guard prototype and suggested they look into adding that on the rear derailer. Helps protect the derailer from damage to the bike falling on the right side. (happened to mine!) Rad Rover has this on their Ebikes. One last bit of info - My wife is 5'-4 and has been struggling mounting & dismounting her white step through. These bikes are heavy and there was not enough clearance from top rail (forget mounting a water bottle as located on top rail) to seat for her to safely take a full stance to mange the bike. That bike is now being sold on our local Craigslist . (looking at the RadRover 6 Plus)
Knowing that there are people watching because most will be interested in buying a ebike , but , nice info but it always helps when the host can conclude with a couple of others in price class to compare to . I understand some reviewers prefer not to down another company but that doesn't help us consumers.
There's another guy on you tube testing this bike that knows a lot more about the display functions and he was showing how you can adjust the amount of torque % wise for each of the pass functions so the bike takes off less aggressively you can set each pass setting to the amount of take off power to your liking which I think is really cool
I like the cruiser style E-bikes, but every company has one and that are so much alike. The E-bike that really sticks out is the Cheetah, and I want one. If I could win a give a way of a cruiser style, that would be nice. I'm not picky Magicycle, Himiway, Rad, Bolton, (Area 13 now) ALL GOOD.
ok i have an update on this bike. i bought one almost 2 months ago after watching and reviewing a bunch.im guessing ive put at least 3 or 4 hundred miles on it but i wouldn't know because the odometer quit working the first week.here's my thoughts so far. i really like the bike overall its like a tank but the display is unreadable in the sun when your wearing sunglasses and the trip meter is a major process when it comes to resetting it but you can do a lot of tweaking to the power settings with it witch is nice . i just put a phone holder on it and use my phone and gps maps and a speedo app . the alarm was broken right out of the box but no big deal and the bike did loose power one time on one of my rides i powered the bike down and powered it back on and after a few minutes it was up and running again that was 3 weeks ago and its been fine since.. customer support is out of china and I haven't called them yet to try to get the odometer issue taken care of . the battery and charger are top-notch in my opinion. I bought the front rack and it is very big and usable the lights are nice and having a brake light is a nice safety feature.i put a suspension seat post and a cloud 9 seat on it cause i have bad disc and it rides smooth as glass
Just got my New Magicycle 52V using your code, Assembled it great looking bike can't wait too ride it tomorrow once the battery is fully charged. They say because of the 4 inch tires you should leave it at 28 inch tires, even though the rims are 26 inch.
My cruiser is 1 year old and what a great ,powerful bike. The only issue now, is the battery runs out of power too quickly. 30 miles maybe . 🤔 my bike is as old as your video. 😮
I assume if you drive on the street that you would have to license it. I’m about 4 minutes to work on 25 mph streets, with the price of gas going up this could be an option at that price.
After you ride a wile you will find that the throttle will get you started no matter what setting you have. That way you don't have to stand up to get started.
Sadly I cannot attest to the ride quality or durability of the bike. My bikes were shipped via UPS and ended up in a dark alley somewhere in Kansas City. So far....I am out $3100.
I got mine 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the weather hasn't cooperated so I only used it 2x's for 50 miles total. I gotta say that they thing is awesome. Hills are not leg burning anymore.

I was able to get one early for 1299, I've almost got 2k miles on mine - it's a good powerful bike, but if I were buying today I'd probably go with the Ride1up 700

I am 5'11" and 160 lbs with a longer torso and rather shorter legs, and 55cm is a perfect fit. Every component seems to be pretty decent and durable except the rear wheel. It was a bit lob-sided and also the freewheel component is either missing a ball bearing or under lubricated, which prevents the wheel from rotating freely. Because of that, it requires more pedaling and also climbing hills a lot harder than expected. Other than the back wheel, I like everything else about it. Affordable and well-built.** UPDATE **It turns out the sound was caused by the tight chain tension. Once I loosen it up by moving the backwheel a tad bit closer to the crankset, the sound went away.
I have two magic cycles and they have bad brakes and broken lights. The customer service looked good then let me down. No answer to my emails or calls.
On my fat ebike it’s a 26 inch but it’s set at 28 I think it’s because the fat tires I tried setting it to 26 and the speed read all wrong so I changed it back and it read fine I just wanted to see what the deal was with that. That actually makes sense though because the tires add so much more circumference. Maybe this one is just programmed to account for that already so it’s just 26 idk was strange to me.
Does the front tire hit ur foot when u turn while the pedal is forward?(turn left-right pedal forward, turn right-left pedal forward). My uncle have a nice bike with fat tires and it runs really smooth but the tires hit our feet when we turn so we have to make adjustments when we turn, quite annoying.
