I have got to see Magma Arizona #7 (A.K.A Tremont & Gulf 30, built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1917) back in July 3rd 2020 at the Texas State Railroad.

Its a shame much of Arizona's old railroads have no traces to know them by, or no records were left behind to learn from them.

There is a multiple volumes hardbound set of Ghost Railroads of Arizona. All the info and maps and pictures. It isn't lost to time.

I think this railroad was one of the last to dieselize, only dieselizing in the late 1960s I believe.

I took have a small reel of 8mm movie of the Magma Arizona. Not nearly as comprehensive as this, though.

Magma #6 is stuffed and mounted in Scottsdale at the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park.
