Hi mate hope you're well ! Went magnet fishing for the first time right by my house in northampton last night and pulled out a big safe !! Had a locked section inside the safe aswell which we managed to Jimmy open with a crowbar but sadly nothing inside 😑I have 2 videos I'm going to upload to my channel when I get one going

My neighbor lost his expensive fish pole in 100+ ' of water in Folsom Lake, near Sacramento, CA. He bought a magnet went to the marked spot and all be darned he found it in about 30 minutes.

Great video mate thanks for the info, i lost my 300kg double sided the other week not sure what it was stuck or or wedged between but my car couldn't pull it out and we snapped my 500kg rope just order 1.5tone rope ( POLYPROPYLENE ROPE BRAIDED 10mm) and a new 300kg double sided wish me luck!

A lot of mixed reviews on wukong I had the 250kg double sided it was OK but my mate has the terror from magnatar and he pulls stuff on almost every frow I wanted something similar but not the same, I nearly got the bulldog 800 but ended up choosing the new 300x from online magnets I hope it's good it's due any day now

Ok. I'm understand how measure the strength.... And I accept the measured result. But how can You remove the magnet when sticked to the metal did you find? Like metals, as you seen when you made a measue. I think no one can pull a magnet with 120kgs or stronger magnets with 200, maybe 300, or 600 kgs force from the metal... :)

Thats the magnet I use. I think showing other magnets and testing them would be a very good idea. See if they are what they say they are. I would however suggest using a thicker plate to test it on to get a true reading, and using that test plate for each magnet. Safes are not great for a test of a magnets pull because they are quite thin metal (filled with concrete) but its useful to see what it can pull. For a test of actual magnet pull you could try covering a safe with mud and slime lol. In conclusion: Yes test as many magnets as you can. Yes test the magnets on a thick piece of steel and maybe a thin also. I would suggest you contact some magnet sellers and maybe pick up the odd freebee with a promise to link. Would be interesting if you tested your 200kg breaking force magnet to see what that is. I think it may actually be an 800 kg pull (2 x 400kg) magnet which is fantastic value for £40ish

Hi demma I will be testing as many magnets as i can get hold of to see what strength they are There are so many variables that affect magnet pull force as you have mentioned all i can do is test them all in the same way and see what happens

Will be so useful for new peeps to magnet fishing and experienced people too.What was in the tied up pants? Looked weighted down and you seemed a bit taken aback by it also

Not a mental question. Looking at it logically in my mind (please correct), water will displace the weight of an object but it will still weigh the same. If using 1000kg double sided magnet as an example it would have a pull force of 500kg under ideal conditions. Conditions are never ideal unless the manufacturer is testing the item and wishes to rate it as high as possible. That 500kg pull is probably going to be 300kg pull at best. The 500kg magnet would be able to drag a 200kg item across the mud with little difficulty as the mud supports the item. This is ideal conditions for dragging. Lifting is a different kettle of fish. When lifting an item you are working against gravity and conditions will be far from ideal. Thin metal doesnt have the same breaking force as solid thick metal. Slime, mud, rust and grit all reduce that ideal 300kg down to 150kg and the item that was so easily dragged now becomes hit and miss when trying to get it out of the water. The question should be asked, with a 1000kg magnet, would you want to be able to lift 500kg? Try lifting that into your car.

I want to get that double-sided magnet like you're using right there that's the one I want the problem is I tried to purchase one online and I could not finish the purchase because I did not have an email account for some reason they want an email which is ridiculous. So I will have to figure out a different way to buy one of these magnets nowhere here in my state of Florida in the US carries any magnets like this.

drasticg iT is just a magnet with no sainless steel edge. IT Pulles from all sides. Only down side is that it breaks easely

@@drasticg I watched another video on here about a canal in Manchester, one that was said to have a 200 year old trap door built into the bottom of it that dumped the canal water into the underground River Tib. Have you ever heard of that hidden river? The Canal and Waterways people, are they nation wide or just for specific cities? They drain the canals and clean them up. Was just wondering if they are a service you can call if you have a canal they need to look at. Might help find lost keys.

I just can't understand why you didn't continue to look for the pram and the car key all car keys are magnetic some maybe covered in a bit of plastic but your magnet and grappling hook should have at the very least found the pram. Interesting video anyway. :-)

Sorry i didnt explain it properly As i arrived i heard a women scream and a splash and as i looked around the corner the guy without the top on jumped in, pulled the pram out and all his belongings I jogged up to them and asked if everything is ok and they said yes and the baby wasnt in the pram, i asked if they needed my help and they said no so i started to magnet fish He came back to me once he realised i had a magnet and asked if id find his car key so i tried for over an hour, i didnt add that bit because who wants me to find nothing for an hour? The volvo key is fully plastic with no metal inside apart from the chip and a small battery but it could of floated off in any direction

Unfortunately only main dealership can replace them but he only had the one key so i imagine an expensive time getting the car recovered, took to the dealers and them having to do it there Ouch

This is my work place and all the trollies that get found in that canal all get scrapped and recycled. Every so offen the council come and clean it up and the trollies get stored in the warehouse yard for the scrap man to pick. So your answer to your question is yes morrisons do care.

770kg is under ideal conditions. Thats 385kg pull on a thick piece of iron. We will never find ideal conditions in a canal, water, weeds, mud, slime, rust or even just because a magnet still has bits on it from the last throw.
