Thank you! I have got the magnet under there, but didn't really get anything out. Some spots are hard to get the magnet under because of the way to boards to the pier are placed...the magnet hits them. At this pier, I've found the most object between straight down out to about 5 feet away from the pier.
Enjoyed your video! That looks like my flounder rig I lost but it was more towards the boat there. It’s a good spot but like you said very crowded in summer!
Thanks Dave! I thought it was well worth the time too, super happy I got it out!! OC Cruisin is an awesome event! I'm sure you'll see us walking around, I love filming it.
Enjoyed the video sir. Gonna try hitting that place up in October when I'm down. Picked myself up a grappling hook for those hard to retrieve items works pretty well! Thanks for taking us along see Ya next video.
@@ReelJayB Only once did the hook get caught on an object that wouldn't budge. At that point it was the decision roe vs wade....🤪😁...well I went in the drink to find it caught on a set of old metal steps (mental note choose better hoods to magnet fish) ...🤣😂. A case like that chair, you would have had it up no time.
Hey man i live down on somerset st if you ever going magnet fishing again i really wanna come watch first hand if you would be cool with that. let me know!!
@@ReelJayB sweet man im pretty new to saltwater fishing too im from PA and moved down here last year. I usually go to the inlet or a couple bay side spots. in the summer i was catching blues, striped bass, and flounder but i wanna get better and understand saltwater like i do fresh.
@@SweenIRL Saltwater fishing is a ton of fun! It's a bit harder to understand, but once you get the hang of it, you'll figure it out quickly. I also love that you never know what's going to bite your hook!
