The hourglass piece is a spacer for something. We had kiln carts made from channel iron that had similar pieces to space the rails so the wheels would turn.

Haha, I can relate exactly how you felt about that "landmine" thing. Last summer I dug up a flat cylindrical object in the woods. It was painted dark green, about four inches in diameter and it had threads in the center. My goodness, did I get a fright... Fortunately it didn't explode, so I investigated it further. It turned out to be just an old gas mask filter.😅 Oh, and of course I smashed that thumbs-up button. Great footage as always!👍

The Patrolman 4 is a old Realistic radio, it would've had AM, FM, UHF HI, and UHF Lo. they were portable and had a plug for use at home, listened to Casey Kasems top 40 count down on one every week as a kid.`

The hour glass piece is a roller of some sort. Rocks aren't magnetic, so you want to bust that thing open to see what is inside. You can watch your video after the first toss or two, to see what kind of bottom and rocks you are dealing with. It can help.

I love the under water view. Rocks can be magnetic if there iron in them and being next to an old RR the train 🚂 could have lost some of the iron oar the transported from one place to another.

Using that GoPro is a really awesome idea only if your in an environment similar to this one where you’ve got the current to keep the water clear enough to see what you’re catching. I don’t think that would work very well if your at a lake where the water flow is substantially less because the water is really cloudy. Keep up the great work with these videos.🧲🎣

4:44 that "hourglass piece" is a thread spool, or at least looks like one. 17:25 and that is a bike handlebar. 19:54 that is a whole speaker and you should probably get that.

Just a thought. When you are fishing dark/murky water and want to video it maybe try using /adding a rechargeable waterproof LED flashlight. There are some on Amazon that are very “powerful” light wise and reasonably priced. Again, just a thought. 🙂

I think what you saw at end clip of this cool 😎 video, was close to a vintage Realistic patrolman 4 model # 12-754 from Raido Shack It's a am /fm but yours looks like a shortwave type raido frequency marks. 19:54 is a single Solar Panel. Or more likely it's an oldschool Radio " .... Just look close on pause you can even see the a carrying handle on the left above the blue display and a bunch of white tuneing diles for FM / AM and Long Wave , Pitch tones adjustable such as treble and base on said diles , including a main band frequency setting tuner under a separate dile , Your welcome.

I'll try to explain Aquachigger's methodology for working in rocky areas. Remove your Caribana find a soda bottle that just fits your magnet slide the rope through the hole reattach the Caribana. tape the bottle top to your rope and then go rocky magnet fishing

Fisher i you have a laptop that will read the gopro card, maybe you should check the videos once in a while. Looks like you went between some rocks that almost caught the works and you could lose it all. However, I am not sure, but a guess, maybe you can't get to the chip because of the duct tape.

Awesome watching the magnet grab stuff and drag most of it through the rocks on the bottom. That is a nice drill bit. Wonder if they used it to drill holes in crossties?
