Magneto is one of my favourite villian because of how tragic his character is he's lost everyone he's ever loved and had to watch both his peoples be slaughtered because of who they were and what they believed in and fights for them every day. In one comic it's revealed he keeps a list of every mutant who has been wrongfully murdered.

In apacolype there is an extended version of Magnitos family death were he sings a luluby to his daughter. It is extremly heartbreaking and intense. It further adds context to Magnitos hate of humans.

The scene with Magneto's daughter is so inaccurate. The second/third generation of the Holocaust survivors would never dare to ask the first generation " What happened to your parents? " Their close friends tell us. I found out only after Uncle Herbert was already dead and gone. And I realized that Mom was still running from the past even after 30 years in America when it was way too late to stop her from killing herself. Alina Lyulkin, killed by the 2014 Ukrainian Nazi coup. Happy MOTHER'S DAY, my dearest. You ARE missed.

I love Magneto, however you ruined this tribute when you put the scene where he put metal into Wolverine's body and put a line like to justify him, he was ruining mutants's reputation and tryed to kill humanity, i now later he was reedemed but that was the only movie where i had'nt feel bad for him (except for his older self)
