Sad that I've had to reupload this with a watermark cause someone on TikTok kept trying to take credit for it (they've also taken that 'Magento in Endgame' edit by Team Maguire and put their watermark over it).
Like I understand mine is just an edit but I had to remove the background music from the DOFP clips, extend the Apocalypse background music so it flows nicer, etc. It's a bit scuffed really, but it's honest work.

I think it’s better that they slept on it. Most of the characters have bigger backstories in the comics, they teased it so it added some dimension to the movie without it taking too much time.

first of all this isn't a real deleted scene, it's a fan edit, secondly... they, at the time, didn't have the rights to everything X-men so weren't allowed to mention it. Now that Disney owns everything they could.

It's insane that they didn't pay that off. Like I get why they didn't do it at that moment but still. If he figured it out right then he logically would have froze up from such news. All the suffering he's been through, hearing something as amazing as still having a child would surely have a massive emotional affect on him.

Since these characters are going to appear in Secret Wars, they better show Magneto finding out the truth. Kevin Fiege said that them all appearing in the movie will be putting the Fox's X-Men story to an end and so they're going to try their best to end character arcs with them all since they are going to make way for the MCU version of the team.

One thing that irks me about this casting is that both Magneto and Quicksilver looks to be around the same age. In this X-men universe this implies Magneto got some teenage girl pregnant while also being a teen himself.

Magneto looks significantly older than quicksilver even with that casting. But even if they did look around the same age, it doesn't imply anything. Erik looks to be around 10 years old in auschwitz in 1944. And this movie takes place in 1973. So erik should be around 40 at the time. Now we don't have an official age for quicksilver, but I'd say he's not older than 20, probably closer to 18. Which would mean magneto got him when in his early 20s
