Magnetometers have many uses. Finding unexploded ordnance, oil and gas pipeline and geophysical survey, shipwrecks and salvage, to name a few. The Magnetometer will sense any anomaly in the earth's magnetic field. I work for a different Magnetometer company, with specialized sensors, but didn't see an answer and thought I'd respond :) Hope this helps. Gina
@@ginalopez7915 Hi! Can you recommend a magnetometer for an amateur user? It should do local readings (rather than mapping) and not be too expensive. I would like to study and understand how stone circles work. I shall start with investigating locations; finding out why those exact spots were marked.
