Here, we try to show drone footage made at different locations along the Bosphorus, the natural strait in Istanbul separating Europe from Asia. We go to Northern Bosphorus where the strait opens to the Black Sea. First one is at the Yoros Castle close to Anadolukavağı which is a very scenic view point. Yoros Castle is a ruined castle dating back to Byzantine times. It is commonly referred to as the Genoese Castle due to Genoa's possession of it in the mid 15th century. The second location is at Zekeriyaköy near the Bosphorus Mansions. From there both the Black Sea and Koç University can be seen. Finally, some footage from Çengelköy show the start of the Bosphorus where one can see the Marmara Sea and the first bridge. The utilized drone in this video is DJI mini 2 air.
The Yoros Castle in Anadolu kavagi, Istanbul is a great location for ship spotting (wait for a separate video on that) and just watching them enter and exit the Bosphorus. It is also a relatively well preserved part of Istanbul as it was not open for development, hence one can see greenery and forests around.
