I agree ! People -, and even some flooring store employees-, confuse it with cheap vinyl flooring, but Linoleum really looks like a million; I'm a designer and it's one of my favorite floor coverings.You forgot to mention that's it's also great for historic renovations since it's been sold since the 1860's ! It can look very modern and yet be period appropriate.
How does the refinishing work and what is an example of a neutral-pH cleaner (water? other?)? I see a lot of positive reviews on the Marmoleum site; the main issue that has come up is that it does scratch easily. I don't remember linoleum at my house growing up, scratching. Is there any type we can get that does not have that issue, and how do we go about refinishing? And how much does one need to budget for refinishing? Thank you so much.
