Hi, Ellie! Lovely, as ever, to catch up with you! 😃 Wow-your Magnolia jumper is BEAUTIFUL! Liz did a terrific job knitting that one, and it showcases your yarn wonderfully. I’ve had my eye on the various Magnolia jumpers, but undecided about which one to go for… and the thought of possibly juggling 4 yarns while knitting does make me slow to choose. 😵‍💫 The sock tube mitts are so much fun! And how sweet that little crocheted collar. LOVE your yarn sets for the mystery KAL. Do hope you can get Liz to join in and make the Barbie pink one-I want to see that one! 💕 Such cute clothes you’ve made for Jensen, and how you’ve “recycled” some of them-very clever. Absolutely brilliant , fantastic idea if Liz agreed to do the Stephen west nit along with you , and Jensen just gets more adorable every time , I was really happy to see him out of those bulky nappies , makes it so much easier for him to walk , run ,and plat and will defo be easier for potty training much love xx

Wowser, what a beautifully knitted jumper you have there Ellie. It fits perfectly and so slimming and the colour looks good too. I hope you can persuade the lovely Liz to join in the MKal it will be fun for you and us to see. Jenson is getting to know the ropes now and it won’t be long before he’s telling us about things. I to knit to my bust size without a lot of positive ease, this makes it fit the rest of my body with some ease , this way i don't feel like the Michelin man😂. I took your tip of knitting a long tube on holiday with me it's great, no heel turn cropping up at thr wrong moment, it is now longer than my leg!

Magnolia Bloom jumper is gorgeous! It fits you perfectly and looks fantastic. The little collar is so cute. You have it made with MIL and mother knitters too. So cute about your mother needing more knitting. Love the fingerless mitts from the tube. I am knitting a tube now too, using markers every 20 stitches so I don't have to recount. Jensen is so adorable. He is really growing, getting very vocal. He's so cute.

I am not taking part in West Knits mal,however I am looking forward to seeing your progress,Ellie and if Adam's mum joins you that will doubly exciting.Your jumper is beautiful.The bobbles reminded me of a bright yellow winter cardigan my mum knit for herself back in the 1970's.Bobbles all over,I loved it.Jensen is adorable,what a happy little boy😊

The Magnolia Bloom jumper looks wonderful on you, perfect fit. I'm wondering if Liz had troubles with the charts? I knitted the Magnolia Bloom cardigan, twice. I had to frog the entire cardigan the first time as the fit was way off. I also had a lot of trouble with the English charts as the stitch count was off. I ended up reading all the project comments on Ravelry, took on board their suggestions to go down a size, don't do the underarm short rows and only use the charts in the original language. The size M English charts are completely different to the original. The 2nd time around was a perfect fit, I love my cardigan, the design is fabulous. Love seeing adorable Jensen in the podcast, he's the same age as my grandson.

(How wonderful for you that you can concentrate on the creative bits!) great idea to make mitts from sock tubes. I wondered what to do with the leftover portion when I get yarn cranked into a tube. What kind of bind off did you do for the ribbed portions of the fingerless gloves?

I used a stretchy bind of where you knit two stitches in pattern and the knit or purl the last two stitches together. I have now uploaded a tutorial for it as well. Here is the link x
