Richard, that is the greatest compliment. Thank you so much. Spread the word 😂. I don’t think anyone else films every single site? 🤔 Happy Camping, Alice
Bummer about Kelly Park and no puppers! Glad you found found Magnolia park instead! Love peacocks...so beautiful! Dang ants!!! Love the game camera! Love all the locations Florida has for camping! See y'all in the next one! 👋 Ashley from Adventure Encounters
Ashley, hey. So few places don’t allow dogs that this was a big surprise. Yes. Peacocks 🦚 good. Ants 🐜 bad 🍾. Florida does have amazing campgrounds but we are ready to see what else is out there. Keep having fun. Alice
That looks like a sink hole lake from above. I love watching the peacock. You have been so great to our channel. Just know we appreciated all that you do for us.
Magnolia is a beautiful county park. The peacocks are so beautiful, as well as the other birds. They deserve all the footage you gave them. Great drone shot over the campground, Larry. Really like how you give the campground tours, showing each campsite and all the area. Great video, Larry and Alice.
Hi. It was a beautiful place. I knew nothing about it before we got there. So when we drove in and saw peacocks! I was sold. We had such a great time. Larry loves his drone. And he works hard on his site to site tours. Thanks for noticing. Take care. Alice.
Sandra, hey. Yes. This was a great surprise. I bet it’s amazing when it’s not in the 90s 🤣. Stay safe. Alice

Thanks for the great review. One of the better ones I have seen. Your drive by with site numbers was very, very helpful in selecting a site (while avoiding others). Happy camping!
Awesome. We try to do a site by site for all our campgrounds. It was a great little campground with lots to do nearby, like the Wildlife Drive. Thanks for the compliment. Alice
What a great video, I wish all campground tour videos were even half as well put together as this! Just booked a weekend there for March 5-7, got lucky and managed to get the last site they had available
Thank you so much. It’s a lot of work, but worth. Magnolia is a great park. I read on their website there is construction across the street. That’s a shame. Great sunsets on Lake Apopka. Enjoy, Alice
Really great video, thank you! My favorite part was your comprehensive view of each camp site -- really makes it easier when booking sight unseen. Extra credit for the notes on the history of the park, certainly adds flavor to the video. Nice combo of drone and gimbal shots. Overall, great video! Thank you!
Aaron, thanks. We struggle sometimes what to add to a video - you can’t please everyone. It’s so great to read that someone appreciates are hard work. The site by site tours is something we know helps people - we actually looked at our Blue Springs video to help decide if we should book it. If you stay at Magnolia, let us know if the big project across the street makes a difference in your stay - I’m curious. Also, the Apopka Wildlife drive is close and worth a trip. Enjoy and thanks again, Alice
Discovering great new campgrounds is such fun! We just went on a campground scouting trip and discovered several gems to try out! 😀 Love learning the history of parks. Very pretty park - love all the wildlife! 🦝 🦚 Sites look nice and room and fairly private. Gorgeous sunset! Great review!
Hey. Yes. I love finding these little places with shade, trees, and animals. There wasn’t much history to find. 🤣. But I told what I could. Sunsets were amazing on the lake. Stay safe. Alice
I didn't know that some parks don't allow dogs! I am so glad to find that out so I am sure to check on that. It looks like a great park with lots of space between each site. I think I would use the bathrooms most of the time if we didn't have hook up. Thanks for sharing larry and Alice!
Kathy, hi. I was surprised about the no dog rule too. Places might have areas like a beach or spring where they aren’t allowed. But a whole park? But Magnolia was amazing so it worked out. I prefer public showers that have doors. Not just curtains. Glad we have our own showers and a “blue boy.” There was lots of space here. I would definitely come again. Thanks for another great visit. Stay safe. Alice
Peacocks are so pretty, love the feathers. Yeah, I'm not sure about the ants, were they bad? Bathrooms look modern. Nice playground, we had the same yellow tape. It's open now. Don't worry about the peacocks, just remember, you can eat them! Nice review, thanks for sharing.
Eat the peacock 🦚? 😢 but they are so pretty? Bathrooms did look nice but I need a door for the shower. The ants were a problem until I sprayed all around the RV 🤣. Thanks for coming by again. Always good to see Steve Turtle 🐢 Alice
I really like how you guys have incorporated different elements of different videos you make into this one. Great drone shots Larry, It really adds to your videos. Great history Alice, really cool to hear how it was really named. But I’ll stay in the camper with all that wild life. Don’t want to add to the list of things I have been chased by. Thanks for sharing this place.
Karl, hey. We like to try something new for every video. I love to research believe it or not 🤣. I thought you would like the raccoons given your history 😅. Larry digs his drone for sure. The peacocks will chase you. I think people feed them 🤔. Take a chance. They are gorgeous. Good to see you again. Alice
Downsizing Makes Cents LOL. I think about it every time I see raccoons. We like to do research also but just high level. One thing I have enjoyed is learning fun facts. Larry really has stepped it up with the drone shots. Keep up great work guys.
Love the drone shots. How was the internet connection there? What a beautiful area. I like that there are only 18 sites. How cool that you were able to get in. Peacocks are certainly beautiful birds. The osprey is one of my favorite birds. We spotted a racoon in our camp in broad daylight last week. Larry certainly coached it by that tree, lol. Nice driving. The facilities appeared well maintained and managed. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Bob, hey. Larry is loving his drone. Internet was spotty. The first day we were there, site 1 was the only one available. And we loved it. After that weekend, it was never full. I love all birds. Raccoons have changed their behavior in many areas and come out during the day. That tree is super sketchy. It was taken care of by a great staff. Thanks for coming by. Alice.
Hey. Thanks. The ducks never whistles for me 🤣. Larry will be glad someone noticed the poles. He changes them for each different campground. Thanks for coming by. Alice
Downsizing Makes Cents, my hubby & I always appreciate y’all for doing that. We live in Ky but our son & his family live near Tallahassee so we’re loving seeing places & campgrounds in Florida that we might want to visit when we’re down that way.
Angela, hi. Those peacocks 🦚 would show off all the time. I think there were 4 males and 1 female that I saw. It was very cool. Always good to see you stop by. Take care. Alice
Barbara, hi. You definitely need to visit. Even if it is to go to the park and not camp or see the sunset over Lake Apopka across the street. Have you done the wildlife drive? That will be part 2. Thanks for coming by. Alice
@@DownsizingMakesCentsHappy to see you back on the road, and safe.. We are into remodeling a truck camper... We live permanently in a 5th wheel, by LegoLand, we loved it so much after downsizing..that we decided to made our permanent Home... But anxious to hit the road again...❤❤❤👍
Lee, hi. Believe me, I wish all campgrounds had sewer hookup for sure. But we plan on boondocking so it was good practice 🤣. Thanks for your thoughts. Take care. Alice.
B, hi. Happy Fourth to you too. Yes. Florida case numbers rising. We are headed out finally. Peacocks are very noisy but I didn’t notice poop. Maybe the staff cleans it up. Their beauty does make up for the noise 🤣. It was an awesome campground and park. You stay safe too. Alice
It was a great county park. But check their website, I read there was construction right across the street. That would ruin the peace an quiet. If you are in the area, checkout the free wildlife drive- we have a video about it. Alice
@@DownsizingMakesCents thanks, I'm gonna look up your video. I think I saw that wildlife drive last year when I drove through the area, but not sure if that was the same one, I have to double check your video. I discovered that Central Florida is so beautiful when I started bike touring. Now Central Florida is my favorite area for bike touring. Feel free to check out my channel also. Thanks 😊
@@DownsizingMakesCents thank you 😊 I'm a birder, I like bike touring because it's slow enough to see birds and fast to get places. Great way to bird throughout the Florida.
Well you got me with the peacocks. My wife loves them things. 18 sites with privacy and shade. That is amazing. FL knows how to do their campgrounds for sure. Love the story of the park name. This place looks amazing. Hum who was that sexy beast in that mirror in the bathroom. lol I am in. Love this place. One of the best parks I have seen.
William. You know your wife is always right. Peacocks are the best. The spots are so big and often used by tenters. So much room here and so much to do close by. You have to go. Maybe with us next time. Don't get Larry started with that sexy beast stuff- haha. Talk soon. Alice
James, hi. You really started something with that camp czar 🤣😂. We will never make it ugh 😫 but we are trying. We couldn’t even do all the ones just in Florida. Are you offering to help? 😃. I’ll tell Larry. 🤣. Stay safe. Alice
@@DownsizingMakesCents It's the Journey not the destination. But just imagine, although there is much information in bits and pieces out there for people who search for it, I have not found anything that is so well done as you two do. Imagine a place people can go to find videos such as yours. As Camp Czar funded by the public or possibly from government grants Maybe Larry could build an Army of volunteers emulating & submitting videos like yours. At this point I am not able to be one of them but I could be one in the future given I am not busy doing other things I love. Larry, as Czar, could accept, edit or deny the videos submitted and build a collection of them categorized by State. Something big here! Be safe you two and Camp on.
James, hi. Love the idea. It could be like Campendium but with all the info like what we provide. Let us know when you set it up 🤣. Actually, we are about to put on solar so we will be at less campgrounds. We really do appreciate the compliment. Stay safe. Alice
Hey. We always make sure there are no branches touching the RV. Plus I spray a natural ant repellant on all the jacks, stairs, mat. Basically anything touching the ground. Plus don’t have any food or garbage outside. Good question. Thanks. Alice.
Wekiva State Park is really close. We have a video on it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HX1GrYR8kKc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gU_9Fln2bZc.html Alice
