THIS IS WHY model railway/railroading is the "Greatest Hobby On Earth" just incredible indeed. I was amazed at how the cars passed through one auto rack to the next, HOW did you accomplish that!?? BRAVO!
This vid should show you how i went through the auto rack at the 14.40 markru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xpHf2RR6yNs.htmlsi=Ywg78kWFyi-oTEUN
If I had to guess the autoracks themselves had to become a stationary part of the system, never able to move. But the fact that he thought outside of the box like this is unbelievably genius in my opinion.
Words escape me right now as I watch this! To say awesome or even incredible does your efforts no justice. Very well planned and executed build Rob!! Love the sound effects also. Muse
It truly is amazing what someone like you, with skills, patience, and perseverance can imagine and create from a simple product. You always push the limits beyond what anyone else has done and take chances that may not work and make it work. Bravo to you Robert. Spectacular.
Derek you always have to believe that you can make it work, other wise we would not do anything, even if this didn‘t work, at least we give it a go and have fun trying cheers Robert
Robert, that is the coolest thing I think I’ve ever seen on a layout. Great job. Loved the sound effects. My words aren’t giving this justice. All you need now is the Ford symbol posted somewhere. Cant wait to see what you do next. This project did not disappoint. Bravo!
Well, i've never seen such innovation as this. A truly amazing piece of work. I don't know how you will top this, but i'm sure your next project will be even more incredible. Jim
Just brilliant. I think I'm going to miss this build. Never doubted it would work (well may be a bit at the beginning). Great to see your vision become a reality. Mark
WOW, just WOW!!! I don't what to say! EXCELLENT, AWESOME, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL TO BEHOLD!!! Those words aren't good enough to describe your accomplishment!!! Thanks for sharing❗❗❗ 🙂🙂🙂 👍👍👍
I'm lost for words it gave me goose bumbs watching this. This is so amazing all your hard work and planning is sure paying off. Thank you for showing it
WOW!!!!!! just WOW!!!!!!!! the sound effects were great. I knew it was going to look awesome but not this" AWESOME" HOME RUN. LOVE the building that hides the car going back to the building very SLICK love it. Good luck with the virus out there have 3 in our state, tell your next video be safe
Well Robert, About all I can say is BRILLIANT! Absolutely brilliant! You don't see a layout like this anywhere. You've done a bang up job. Regards, Solomon
@@csxmad I wish I could get Danny back to our train room. I miss it. Ours is mainly track with a few buildings. Have a great week. Thanks for watching Danny Holt's videos.
What can I say but wow..... this is absolutely fantastic.. im not one for sound effects but this is bloody awesome ...... I have been scratch building RC model boats and have learnt how to make just about anything work ... but this astounds me.. the detail and time spent to make this is fantastic... I have just watched your 3 bridge set of videos and they were fantastic but this just tops it all off.. I am going to sub and check out many of your other videos.. Cheers from Melbourne...Tim. I used to do security at the Geelong Ford plant until they shut it down recently, and saw this happen a few times when on shift but never seen this happen on a model train layout.. congrats.
Tim. when i started this i didn't know if it would turn out, and there was a lot off times when building this i thought just give up as things i was trying to do would not work. But after a few months trying it all came together cheers Robert
As a small child I always wanted the Triang-Minic car system in HO to integrate with my train set. I used to think that the ultimate would be the ability to drive four or five cars onto a car carrier. You've exceeded the dreams of a child ( now sixty).
I'm glad i exceeded the dreams lol. But this was my best build so far and a lot of work went into making this work, and was happy with the outcome, so thanks for the great comment and for watching cheers Robert
@@csxmad Hi Robert. I wasn’t sure if you followed the channel, didn’t want you to miss the shout out. I always look forward to your video’s, I like your relax approach and modelling skills. Thank you.
@@kennethfrost7499 Kenneth, i do watch the channel but i haven't off late, but thanks for sharing the info and was good to see CSXMAD on the channel lol cheers Robert.
That area turned out really great! It's not as loud as I thought it would be either. I thought the chain would be very noisy but really it just sounds like the wheels on the cars rolling. Neat video. 👍
Awesome! What a great job. I hope our new Magnorail (N gauge) we are installing at the club works half as good as this. You need to find a way to have that sound play on the layout. Fantastic!
Holy Moly Robert, you have accomplished what you set out to do and much more. Always knew you would do what you planned but this is way beyond what I was expecting. Cheers to you my friend. Absolutely amazing 👍👍👍😎😎😎 Cary
Great work Robert - it's been well worth the wait. The way you 'nutted' out the workings is a testament to your modelling skills so congratulations on your achievement(s) and you should rightly feel very proud.
I thought no, impossible. But wow, well done, very impressive. I am about to purchase the system myself but I will be keeping my roadway layout a lot simpler.
@@csxmad Hi Robert, Thanks for your reply. Can I ask you a question. How many sets did you need and what was the maximum number of cars you can run at the same time. Say for example you combine 3 sets and each set could normally handle 8 cars. If you have 3 sets can you run 24 (3x8) cars on the road or would you still be restricted to just the 8 cars no matter how many sets you have.
@@mikepownall2166 Mike i have brought some more cars, just to see how many cars i can run at one given time. So time will tell how many i can run. I did buy 3 sets with 3 motors but because i run plastic cars, i would say that i should run quite a few, but i can't give you an answer until i set up the cars and to give this a go. But if i was to run die cast cars the number would drop right down. And just remember that it is the weight of the cars that puts the strain on the track cheers Robert
Thanks Robert. As you say, it depends on a number of thinks. Fortunately I have a lot of plastic cars but they are mainly 80’s + 90’s. All my very modern vehicles are die cast
Wonderful, I watched all the episodes, and I just say Wonderful because I'm speechless, it's so beautiful. Merveilleux, j'avais regardé tous les épisode, et je dis juste Merveilleux car je suis sans voix tellement c'est beau. Mirinda, mi spektis ĉiujn epizodojn, kaj mi nur diras Mirinda ĉar mi senparola estas tiel bela.
Well Robert All I can say is your the King! It has been sometime coming but... This Has to be truly one of a Kind and not just Replicating scenes, The cars and sound effects are Killer. I Love the Roundhouse in the back also didn't know it was that close. As always Cheers Mate! and keep up the Great work. What's Next?? Andy M Sutton, Mass USA
I want to see how this works. This is awesome! I assume when they go into the auto rack thats in the building the go under the layout and circle back as the auto racks never filled. This is really cool! Well done.
Fantastic animation modeling Robert, plus excellent video production, made for an impressive finale to the auto plant build series. Thank you for the demonstration on how effective the technology available to us as model railroaders can be. My only critique would be that the scene needs more workers just standing around and going about their jobs. Art...
Art thanks again and your right i still have to put more into this as you said people, Also i have to do the Ford Sign and other items as well cheers Robert
The Magnorail will go under the layout at the end off the Auto Racks, which is hidden by the building where the auto racks go. If you watch this video you will understand how all this works, and thanks for commenting cheers Robert. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6zrtYw-hb1U.html
good job you,ve got that working well what type of cars do you use my magnor rail will only take about 4-5 cars at one time im using oxford cars are your cars plastic cheers phil
I must say that I have seen something cooler than this . . . but just don't ask me what it was ! Awesome Job. There is a part of me that wants to know exactly how you put the magnorail in the cars, but the sensible part of me says I'd rather not have the magic spoiled! Great job! Do you mind sharing how long it took to assemble? Thanks for sharing this awesome video!!!
I didn't keep count of the hours i put into this, but it was a long time. And if you watch some of the early parts of the build you will see how the cars and Magnorail all works out, and thanks for watching and commenting cheers Robert
I love it. Awesome work, Robert. It’s mesmerizing. Cool sound effects too. Thank you for all your hard work building and recording the steps. Now, it’s fine time. The Porsche I ordered, has it been delivered yet? Ha ha. Take care. -Drew
Is this real?! Now I can successfully say I have seen everything. Words can’t even describe how cool this is. It is overly ambitious but you pulled it off!! It has to be the coolest thing I have ever seen.
just bloody brilliant Robert not only are you a master piano player you are a master modeler great work.did you ever get a promtex or walthers car carriers. thank you for a great video Andrew
