And you're telling me they're trying to replicate this chemistry? What Tom and John Hillerman had was a rare and beautiful thing. Two talented actors that played off each other perfectly whether it was comedic or straight emotional.
Same deal with James Garner and Noah Beery Jr. on The Rockford Files. Every now and then, Jim Rockford needed a little sage advice from his father, Joseph!!!
'Macho Taco' ... 'Burrito Machismo'... Those 80's Mexican foods sounds delicious... Only a man like Thomas Sullivan Magnum would consume such cruise and wash it all down with vintage wine... lol.
This is was good, but to be honest, I don't think that it comes close to the time when Peter Griffin came by with a can of beans and was feeding them and Higgins was jealous over Magnum having more beans than him...🤔
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti6854 - are we talking about a Family Guy/Magnum crossover here? That exchange does sound good, but not strictly canon if that's the case...
I used to watch this wonderful show when I was 12 back in 1982 and now I still find it more than wonderful! Thank you Magnum, thank you Higgins both of you were great. Greetings from Egypt.
"Civilized people must have some sort of standards" you are right Higgins about that because back in the day people were still civilized but today there are no civilized people anymore.
Logistically even though they're both Robin's cars I always felt like Higgins took the Audi whenever he had to drive, so Magnum knew to not take it unless it was his only option. On the production side of the show though Magnum probably always took the Ferrari because they were trying to portray him in a debonair way.
2:12 I just love the way John Hillerman (aka Higgins) can break a pencil when her hears that Magnum (Tom Selleck) has stolen the keys to the Ferrari and drive off. Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks are great in the CBS (currently NBC) reboot, but Tom and John will always be the best "odd couple" of Magnum & Higgins.
Any chance you could upload the iconic bar fight scene from Resolutions part 2? It was a perfect last adventure for the fantastic foursome of Magnum, Higgins, TC and Rick.
kendall rivers that was a fun scene to watch! Rick disregarding the big trouble he was putting Thomas, TC, and Higgins in with a bunch of testosterone -fueled Strip club patrons at his Bachelor's party he thanked the guys throwing for him.. when actually he was the one who arranged and booked it all himself! Hilarious episode! 😄
@@mr.hannes2057 it was a perfect final scene of the four guys' one last adventure together. I loved how they couldn't take down that one big dude even with a chair lol.
@@kendallrivers1119 I love that scene! So funny watching all of them trying to put away those strip club goons, and then ending up getting ganged up by all of them! I cracked up at the way that big, muscular, mustached dude quickly recovered and started growling at the aghast faces of Thomas, Higgins, and TC! Poor Rick was still knocked out cold on the floor! Truly the best and final outing of the foursome! 😄😁
fine wine does not go with tacos not even the finest cranberry sparkling wine if I had a wine cellar and house of that ilk I would throw the biggest fit if my cranberry wine went missing truth
Honestly, I’m astounded Higgins, in all his intelligence, didn’t see that coming. Better yet, why hide it in the most obvious place imaginable? All those pockets, and he never uses them.
Yes. They are employees of Robin Master's estate, it's part of their "uniform" so to speak. But in Higgin's case, he is Robin Masters, so he's just pretending to be an employee.
