@@IRateGuns i’ve been toying with the idea of a fac super nova with moderator for shooting crows and foxes it would cut the boom down a bit i normally use a hushpower .410 before 6am
@@paulburns2287 probably around the 50 yard mark most have been shot at 20-40 yards and have been stone dead under 20 yards it’s like using a slug when you head shoot them
I take some small issue with saying they don't increase range; A denser pattern means you can maintain sufficient killing density to a longer range than you could with a less dense pattern. There are many variables that contribute towards shot density, but all else being equal, more shot equals a denser pattern. Saying they don't extent range is equivalent to saying a 2 inch .410 cartridge has the same range as a 3.5 inch 12 bore cartridge, or that a 20 bore cartridge has the same range as a 10 bore cartridge. It's false.
A 20bore has the same range as 10 bore, all things being equal.. there I said it because it’s true ish😁 but I think we are talking about 2 different things, range and effective range. Maybe I’ll do a video on this, pattern tests at 70 yards?
