Fr im so good I dont even get rating points anymore for beating average super GM theyre so bad but for beating Cactus Magusen I get at least 1 point stupid noob
While playing a very unusual opening, moving the king 2-3 times in the opening breaking all the fundamental rules in chess and still manages to salvage the position and annihilate the opponents. God damn it!
35:14 is such a Magnus move. that no other GM would play. you can see magnus was ready to take the free bishop. from like two moves. as he was anticipating opponent will move the queen next to his queen.
I am sure when people see they are playing Magnus they just give 120% like it's the most important game of their life... then there is Magnus just playing troll openings :D legend
my god...he's the ultimate troll. He gives all these GMs a huge positional advantage and then proceeds to humiliate them by either trick them with tactics or outrun them. He simply knows he is faster and smarter than them.
Wow really funny, interesting and instructive games. The point is that Magnus wants to prove that people overestimate their position ... and want to refute his play too quickly .. this is pure chess! .. and very instructive, really!
I feel like the difference between Magnus and Hikaru in online chess is that Hikaru likes to blitz out moves and more often than not, comments on how he messed up the opening or somehow reached a good/bad position, and he just plays with what he has. Meanwhile Magnus is actively trying to *reach* a certain position in which he believes he is better, and begins to play a winning endgame from there which although takes more time, results in more wins than losses.
01:09:54 Pqp, como que essa música ficou tão grudenta na época? 😂 Mesmo não sendo das mehores músicas BR ainda é legal ver um gringo, sobretudo o Magnus cantando o refrão enquanto trucida os adversários. 😂
@50:58 "can backfire sometimes" - well in chess tht is the recipe for disaster or IN OTHER WORDS LOSS IMO , but for Magnus (talking chess only, not life in gen) he has the incredible skill to repair his ugly positions as witnessed HERE...in contrary to us mere mortals!
It is amazing, I start with -4.59 with white, but people are not used to it , and they lose on time, or start sacrificing material in vain. Great openings for bullet.
Can someone explain to me what magnus does at the very beginning with his king ? He moves it then take it back, like he was willing to waste moves. (As you must have guessed, I'm a chess noob)
You know if your like intermediate or have some aptitude for Chess and a trying to learn and improve. I find Magnus' endgames is like... it's easy to learn. In all the youtube. his endgame's are like the most logical easiest to understand... and the does not actually post them. but like in the clip his endgame is almost slower that his beginning and middle game. Also you can note... a deeper understanding of the endgame from him. ... next level ish! We are not worthy! He is a Master. The hard part is easy for him. Good grief charlie brown!
