Hikaru keeps fighting Magnus, and Levy keeps making awesome content, keeps click-baiting us, keeps giving discount for his courses, keeps a positive vibe and keeps donating pins of shame.
All while retired, u gotta have balls to sell courses after u retire from chess from getting slapped otb in games to the extent u fckn retire, and then sell how to win like me courses for money, the funniest part, I bet people buy them, the mind wobbles
@@scrydeontop5831 I guess someone is out there thinking I don't wanna be top class or world class I'm looking for mediocre chess with pros and I can stomp noobs all day long . I guess but you don't need to spend money for that . W.e how anyone makes a living is good for them I'm fckn around, it's funny to me.
My fiancé has recently gotten into chess solely because of you. She says you sound like a Jewish chess messiah lmfao whatever that means. Thank you for making content we love binging together.
Hey, Gotham, you probably won't see this but I thank you from the deepest depth of my heart for making such a beginner-friendly and safe environment for people starting to learn how to play the game of chess. I am sure everybody agrees with me. Love, a fan.
The weirdest thing about this channel is I barely know anything about chess and I still listen to it. Idk why. Somehow this guy is just fun to listen to…
I love how you can see that magnus and hikaru have completely different styles. very interesting. Both really good in very different ways, also in simular ways, but different.
You know, just last week a nurse was telling me a story of a patient who came into the ER with a C3 arterial dissection from cracking her neck, just like that. Didn't make it.
The first game of Magnus vs Sarin you showed, Magnus was playing the "Dubov" gambit, from the final game of the Russian Championship of Dubov vs Karjakin, a hell of a game. It's one of my favorites to play.
@@ninjaghostrider4299 Thank you, from my experience I just picked 2 systems/lines for each color. Namely Vienna/Alapin and KID/Englund. I don't win all my games but it gets me a decent win % and get constant streaks in my current rating bracket.
Please teach some chess openings(some real ones lol, not those I found this new gambit stuff) your videos help a lot!(like the ones you did on London, Caro Kan, nimzo etc.)
Slowly but surely you've turned into my favourite channel on RU-vid. Both entertaining and educational, you sir keep doing what you do, it's appreciated!
Great video as always my man. I'm not great at chess myself but these videos are slowly helping me realize that. Just wanted to make a quick observation, I'm not sure if you realize this but Nihal is from India not Chile. You have the wrong flag
They're both no doubt absolute monsters! Difference for me is that half the time Magnus is often trolling (or flat out taking the piss) yet still has a rating in excess of 3350!
Lol I’m sorry but it looked like Gotham tried to do a Mortal Kombat Fatality to himself when he tried to crack his neck! Lmao I laughed so loud, I woke up all the kids! Love the content, Gotham. Keep being great!
YOOOO MAN! Don't crack your neck like that!!! There's this case of a guy who used to do something similar to that to crack his neck and he tore the artery in his neck and died....
I just recently got into chess. I’m a 300, but from learning your strategies I beat my 800 level friend twice in a row and dropped his rating to 550. I also joined a chess club at my school and won my first serious match over a board. I think my only weakness is that I always open with e4😅 my friends caught on and abuse me for that lol. Anyone who replies pls give me any ideas for a new opening.
Sergey Mikhailovich Grigoriants (Russian: Сергей Михайлович Григорьянц; born 2 November 1983) is a Russian chess player, who was awarded the title of Grandmaster in 2003. He plays now under the Hungarian flag, because in 2018, he married with the Hungarian WGM Petra Papp. Btw, his name is pretty much Armenian. Anyway, you speak Russian, Levy, not me. 🤣😂
hikaru is only getting 3 points per win but how many points is his opponent losing for losing a match against someone that much higher rated? i cant imagine its much
Watched the lex friedman podcast. The part about death really got to me. If you died suddenly, I would be distraught and you would have never known what you mean to me. So i would like to say that you're a great teacher and like a great friend to me. What you do on this channel and on twitch has made my life a little bit better. That's the biggest achievement for a human, to make another human's life better.
@@gladio2029 That was Isildur's iconic response to Elrond after he was told to throw the One Ring into the lava. Could've ended all the tragedy that followed but its power overcame him. Just how I'm turning my back at this opportunity to learn chess. I know that tragedy will follow in my wake, working my way up to the GM level and destroying everyone. It would be catastrophic and unfair to everyone. So I'm sparing all from my unfathomable terror on the chess board
