Where there are problems, there are Magpul-engineered solutions. We are changing the game yet again. The DAKA Grid Organizer is Now Shipping at: bit.ly/3Cxab8p
Am I the only one that noticed the rifle was stored upside down, with the scope against the bottom of the case, where it would relieve the most punishment from impact and setting down? And that was in their new system. They built all that and put the rifle in 100% unprotected... well done Magpull. "We just make the stuff, we don't know how to use it".
As a gun and photography enthusiast, this in a deeper format could fit a whole bunch of different kinds of expensive gear that needs to be taken to places by people who won't necessarily treat them carefully. Also has the "why didn't I think of that" feeling that really good ideas possess.
@Keith Davis I was waiting for a comment like this. I have no doubt they will make smaller ones for pistols, but that's a so far down the road issue and some people are on the impatient side and want it now and I afford a solution for those people. It's by no means a perfect solution, but one that can satisfy those who don't want to wait and don't mind cutting it up to fit their need. Remember, improvise, adapt, and overcome.
This feels like your normal infomercial but it's made by a good company. Guess that's what happens when a company delivers what they promise. Good job Magpul
I'm not even sure if Magpul realizes how good of a product this is. My mind went immediately to unconventional storage solutions. A+. The market will have all sorts of uses that wasn't thought of previously.
I don't own any Vault cases, but I have a few 1720s and 1750s that I'll probably get it for when those come out. Hopefully you also do 1700s. This seems like a great idea. Hopefully it is one in practice, too!
YES!!!! This is awesome! Also, I would totally buy a Magpul case. After all the magazines you sent to Oregon, and the quality stuff you've made for years, I'll totally rep you guys forever.
As someone who got a Meta Quest 2 for Christmas, this is giving me major Resident Evil 4 vibes. I’ve spent so much time managing my attaché case in that game. Haha
I played around with this at Shot Show 2023 in Vegas (for about half an hour...I think some of Magpul staff realized that I was having fun). This is one of the best thing I've seen at the show. It took a while for me to get it, but this is sort of like Lego - But be advise, this only works with Pelican V series case. One of my suggestion is that I hope there is a way to remove a portion of base layer if I want to so I can store my bulky gears.
Well, I was just looking at finally getting custom foam for my long gun cases! Perfect timing; you've got me definitely considering this instead. Now just don't take forever to get the Pelican 1750 version out...
I got a v800 for stupid cheap a few years ago and never cut the foam bcus my needs kept changing, so this right here is the solution i absolutely NEED!
I'm looking forward to Magpul doing their version of the turbo encabulator video and using this voice-over actor. Make sure those trigger housing spurving bearings are in peak retrograde accuracy.
I am very interesting in this as I have a pelican case. The adaptability is really cool for reconfiguring. So I have one case for many items instead of one case for each. Further evaluation is necessary.
Been thinking about investing in a new hard case for smaller and disassembly platforms. Hoping that Magpul one comes in different sizes. I'm super interested.
would also be a good idea to offer kits per dimensions so people can cut them down to fit stuff like the apache case from harbor freight and other non-pelican cases
I’ve always gone with softcases because hardcases are difficult to configure and the foam in them isnt all that secure. This new hardcase organizer sure looks like a game changer
Really like if Magpul could also make a jumbo++ sized case at a good price for a Barrett or 3 guns. I know companies specialise in cut foam blocks, but this is interesting, just how much would it cost?
Genius! I use soft cases, but, if I ever have to fly with it, I need a lockable hard case, and didn't want to have to custom cut foam (PITA). Well Played Sirs, Well PLAYED!
