Wow....I'm from Mizoram (India) and i like to say that...Bamboo Dance is also our traditional dance,,, and we the mizo's are also known as Headhunter's ..the thing is,, we're so so far from Malaysia and i don't understand how our traditional are same?
Not surprising when you think about it... it's possible that the Javanese Hindu based majapahit empire that succeeded the sri visayan empire had a very strong indian influence on Malaysia,Singapore and indonesia..trade and cross cultural exchange could have taken place.....I see a strong indian influence in the Indonesian martial art of pentjak silat not to mention the cuisine and spices which have indian influence which could have been assimilated...both empires of the sri visayan/majapahit empires stretched across many countries... it's beautiful how aspects of Indian culture were infused in southeast Asia .
@@channelkur8871 What do you mean 'learn more'? You cannot deny the significance of Javanese Majapahit and Malay Srivijayan hegemonies over the Maritime Southeast Asian region in the distant past. The Javanese and the Malays (other than Khmers, Viets and Siamese) are regional crucial players in Southeast Asian Geopolitics. All of those peoples had or have remarkable cultural, religious and historical with the Indians. So, it is not impossible that their ties influence or somehow exposed to the not-so-related peoples like the Mizos and Nagas in Northeast India.
Bunyi bambu tu sgt mnyeramkn klu kena kaki...teriak ko mcm tu nanti..hahaha..apapun bangga jdi org sbh bermcm budaya.. rakyatnya pun baik2 Dan tolerance..
I would bust my face tripping dancing over those long wooden sticks lol🤣😂. Beautiful dance and the beat was enticing. I have ancestors from Madagascar, they descend from people from Borneo. They have so many customs similar to Native Americans in North and South America it is very intriguing.
no,most of madagascar people today migrated from the coastal of Southeast asia(sumatera indonesia and malaysia peninsula)...there's no prove that the madagascar people are migrated from borneo
Without reading comments just watching them i mistakenly identify them as igorots from philippines. Happy to see similarities between us malayan people...
@船尾中文 just like what philippines did to sabah so what's wrong for me to say that the philippines is the greatest most known claimer ever on earth...idc wadafak is ur igorot or what,u don't need to relating ur people with us...we know southeast asian share a lot of similarity just like indonesian and malaysia and thai with vietnam but please not for malaysia and philippines that's all muah
@船尾中文 what do you mean?do you think its the gentle way for claim something that you already sold?Sulu sultanate gets Sabah even from Brunei sultanate but have heard that Brunei try to claim us?and plot fact here,Sulu sultanate are founded by Malay guys whom from Johor, Malaysia and the reason of Philippines for claiming Sabah just like encouraging Malaysia for claim Sulu as sulu was founded by them
@船尾中文 we are not taken by malaysia but we are united with malaysia, there's no Malaysia if sabah are not there and there's no Malaysia if Malaya are not there...mind ur own bussines
Tinikling - this similar cultural dance reminds me of the Filipino/Philippines' folk dance of Tinikling; in America, the closest thing would be a Double Dutch rope jumping contest, in an African-American community.
This make me feel like we should not majukan Sabah. Its not that i dont want sabah to be Maju as Malaya but im afraid these uniqueness and tradition of Murut people in Malaysia will lose its heir and gone.
It’s okay for Sabah to become maju just like Malaya. Malaya is getting more urbanised and modern and therefore there will be more platforms for traditional dance and culture to be showcased. Siti Nurhaliza and Noranizah Idris are living proof that you can become modern without having to destroy traditional cultures. In fact, traditions flourish together with modernisation. And Malaysia able to do that! 😊
nak majukan sabah x semestinya dgn buat bandar with full of skyscaper tp boleh majukan dgn ambil kira tarikan tmpat tu..buat bandar ekopelancongan..perbaiki jaringan transportation from one area to another..byk negara yg based on ekopelancongan cth mcm new zealand and some area in japan yg maju but still pelihara culture dia
🙄this is Sabah dance from Malaysia, not Indonesia. Stop claiming our culture. Can't you read? It's literally said Sabah there at the channel, where did you learn your geography?
