There was little to no hype for this film but I'm so glad it impressed me so much! The film titled #Mahaan starring #Vikram in the title role is directed by #KarthikSubbaraj and also stars Vikram's son, Dhruv Vikram opposite him. A film showcasing the life of Gandhi Mahaan and his journey from a commerce teacher to a liquor business tycoon was very exciting. I hope you like the Mahaan Movie Review & Analysis

Tamil cinema didn't market itself strategically pan India the way Telugu cinema did. Else, Tamil cinema has enough superstars and superlative talents who could have become pan India megastars like Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Jr. Ntr.

Vikram is a great actor if he is properly used by the director. His performance in Sethu, Pithamagan, Anniyan are the best of his career. He got a natural charm in his acting.

Vikram is one of the best actors in the country. Love the trio of Dhanush, Suriya and Vikram from Tamil industry. These guys are gems. They can pull off a completely massy character and nail an offbeat role as well, on any given day. Also, I feel Santosh Narayanan is the best music director in Tamil industry even though he is not as popular as Anirudh or Yuvan

How the final act in the movie takes off from the moment when Vikram realizes that he has lost his lifeline at the cost of his fatherhood, closes his eyes, and gets himself up to his feet to give it all back so righteously and cleansing his soul is one of the most delightful and satisfying endings I've ever witnessed. A great manifestation of the character's IQ and EQ. His role in that act is the greatest personification of how one shouldn't succumb to the repentance and regret of having done so many wrong and selfish things in life, but how one must rise from the slump, take action, and chin up.

For me dhruv was just a superb surprise package ...like didn't expect such intensity from him...just psychotic in the role...heard some characters are missed..if only we can get a
