As per Chapter 19, Prabhasa Khanda of Skanda Purana, Parvati Devi was born to Himavan at end of Chakshusha Manvantara (6th Manvantara) and beginning of Vaivasvara Manvantara in Varaha Kalpa. As per this chapter, Varaha Kalpa is 31st Kalpa in 51st year of Brahma. 30th kalpa was Pitri Kalpa and Sati was born in Swayambhuva Manvantara (1st Manvantara) of Pitri Kalpa. @Bhavya Ji this song is in Kannada and Malayalam _ the SouthIndian languages...Happy that you loved this bhajan...The part chandrachooda is in Kannada penned by Famous Carnatic musician Purandaraadasa.The Malayalam part following chandrachooda describes Lord Shiva,his charismatic face,his omnipresence,him being the master of all arts,and all his divine traits.Lord Shiva is the fav deity of many Hindus in Kerala..Even non Hindus are there who respect him as Nataraja and Lord of arts. Here even non Hindus loved to watch Devon ke dev mahadev(dubbed version,titled "Kailasanathan").I myself used to watch it every day and loved that mytho serial so much.Though I am not a Hindu by Birth I am one by Values and I respect Hinduism...May you be blessed by Shiv ji himself.Namaste 🙏

I have heard 'sojugada sojumallige' bhajan also- there's such a power in all our south indian languages Malayalam being most ancient language I guess because it has so many sanskrit words in it.Thanku so much for providing the divine meaning , Mahadev is above all languages and customs .Hence this bhajan reaches people across all regions and religions. Knowing that u are not even Hindu still you know so much about the bhajan and its musician and Mahadev is loved by the whole Kerala feels so great🙏.And being a hindu by values is harder than being a hindu by birth sir. I really respect u for this. Thats why I love and respect our Southern part of India so muchhhh, there is less communal and religious violence there. Here in delhi and NCR region, even Hindus (not all) are not that keen to know or understand their profound Puranic texts. I know about kailasanadhan which used to air on Asianet, found the channel while scrolling so long for some another channel while I was in school and started watching that too😂. And my family used to find it funny that I watch it even without understanding what is being said. But as it was a repeat telecast of DKDM , I knew all the dialogues 😅. This has been my lifeline since I was a school kid. And when I came across this beautiful video and bhajan, I loved ittt🥰.. Kailashpati is above all religions, languages , rules and regulations. @@neerajsharma4394 ji Kannada,Tamil and Malayalam are classic languages from south..Malayalam being a member of Dravidian family one of the oldest language family has the influence of Tamil.Bt at the same time Malayalam was subjected to sanskritization at a time..As a result it has the influence of both the devbhasha and tamil.So when mytho shows are aired on our channels they use the polished sanskritized Malayalam to dub for the actors.Kailasanathan was aired on asianet when I was in 10 th..My classmates irrespective of religion used to watch it and they all liked it for the song karpura gauram,Mohit Raina's shiv Avatar Mouni Roy and Sonarika's Sati and parvati roles etc.Though I wished watch Devon ke dev in hindi itself life ok was not available here at that time...Now I watch it on hotstar in Hindi to feel the beauty of original..Thanks to the Trilanguage formula adopted here bcz of which we learned Hindi and so those who have studied the language with love knows to comprehend and communicate in Hindi.Thank you so much for replying and you are always welcome here 💖🙏 If u are interested in reading I suggest you to read our Shashi Tharoor's Why I Am A Hindu if u Havnt read it .It's a remarkable book on Hinduism ,I read it only recently 😄.Namaste 🙏

So glad to know that u know hindi and u could watch it on hotstar, because there is a huge difference between the dubbed and original version, the soothing as well as terrific voice of Mohit Raina as shivji and the angelic voice of Sonarika as Ma Parvati plays a huge role in making this series a masterpiece. Sonarika was just 19 at that time ,hence u can feel as if it's Ma Parvati herself. Also I have always heard from south people that they hate hindi which really hurts us because along with all the south indian languages, hindi is also one of the most beautiful languages as it has words deshaj as well as videshi.With time lots of words came in hindi which is why people may call it as urdu and what not, but you may have understood that the original hindi derived from devnagri lipi is far different from what we speak now. And thanks to Sony Max and other movie channels which usually air telugu Tamil movies here which is why everybody loves south India so much here😊. But yeah watching it on lifeok in 2012 was a nostalgia, an emotion to me as well as most of my friends at that time. As lifeok was just started at that time, mahadev used to air only for 20 mins for many months. Then they started the half n hour episodes and mahaepisodes in between. Also we all were able to watch Mohit Raina winning so many awards for his roles as mahadev as well as jalandhar on lifeok and starplus itself.There used to be some facts related to lord Mahadev that used to come in 'Did You Know ' format at the bottom everyday at that time. And it was at that time only when I went kedarnath with my family but due to some landslide and continuous rains , we went to badrinath ji instead. And luckily , we were saved from the water disaster that happened the very next day at Kedarnath. I was just 12 at that time . Mahadev ran for complete 3 years on lifeok and even its trailers and its grand promos in 'times of india' at that time were a point of discussion all the time.
