I used to live down that dam....this market is not as big as it used to be years ago, Wonderful memories, there was a stelling there the creek people use to bring out there produce there. That cinema was my Aunt’s, my. Grand parents has stores in the market and many of my uncles........thanks
Awesome videos, I been watching your videos for the last couple of months and I have learnt so much about Guyana 🇬🇾 and Guyanese people. I’m South African 🇿🇦 indian and there’s so much similarities between us well besides our accent.
Beautiful drone views as always. Beautiful Guyana. Thanks for your dedication of making these videos. They bring a lot of pleasure to us that live overseas. With technology we can see so much more. This was not available when we were growing up there. Most houses did not even have phones or even electricity. We need to tell our young people to appreciate what they have today, they do not know.
Dear denny and family, I really enjoyed your video of mahica village and the Creek. Showed my mother and she recognised the area so well not surprisingly mum from Handsome Tree mahica Creek. It brought back beautiful memories for her. Amazingly to see mahica from the air is spectacular. Mum and Dad plan to go and spend a few months in Guyana next year. Mum says your filming is like a presenter on TV. We all enjoy your cooking by wonderful family. I always enjoy Guyana regardless. Crush ice is one of my favourites and Banks beer or GT beer. God bless. Regards Surendra. (England)
Wow, haven't seen this place since late 90's. The market have a makeover than it was before. Lots of people have their own stall in a row. Thank you D for this video about Mahaica market I used to shop on Saturdays since I am from Unity Village just near Ravi gas station. But now that road cars don't pass there instead they using the newly built road as you know.
Another nice video with the bonus aerial view. Love so see that lots of folks shopping at the market have their reusable bags. Can't wait for you to go to Mahaicony (hint). If I ever come back to live in Guyana it will be in the country side. 😍
Miss my country, Guyana. Used to shop at Mahaica market on weekends to go to West Coast Berbice. Every thing has changed, thanks for sharing, brings back good memories, God bless

High Tide in the Mahaica river, my heart skip a beat. That is where I am from. The only thing I have got is love. Thanks for making me feel so. Oh wait! I cried a little. IT is like I can"t wait for your next video.
Never been to these parts, looking down at the lush and beautiful landscape make the mind certainly curious, beautiful drone footage, love the song “a bird on a tree...” yes!💙
Excellent views on the Drone and the Market , In Guyana you got under 1.000.000 population. In England we got over 60.000.000 peoples living here, overcrowded, we get a lots of Migrants trying to get here from Europe, wouldn't it be better for all of the Migrants to come and live in Guyana and make their homes there. I hope the Guyana Government can help these Migrants and gave them a home to live in.Guyana is Big country compare to England....""These Migrants need Help"!!!!!
Beautiful place and you always doing one of the best video and the place you visit is so amazing to watch how you get to video every part of the day .. ❤
Thanks for the notification!! Denny that snow cone brings back lots for memories, going to primary school back in the 80s bright and early Monday morning after assembly, we had to go in the school garden. As soon as the students hear the snow cone man’s bell rings we starting lining up to get one!!Awesome video!!!💕

Oh it would be nice to see more of Mahaica River pass Big Biaboo one day, thanks.
Hi Danny, I just learnt from here in the comments that that's your name. Nice name, I wonder if it's short for something else. I am familiar with Mahaica having passed through many times. And of course the market, always rich in an abundance of colourful Guyanese fruit and vegetables. You know, I must say this, every video you shoot is touching someone's heart, every part of Guyana that you go to will be special to someone watching, will bring to life someone's home where they grew up, where they had or have loved ones, cherished memories that you are now allowing them to show their kids and grandkids, and that Danny, has no price. You are entering the heart of someone with every video you put here. Always remember that. Blessings to you.
Morning lovely family ,Denny why yuh does torture me so omg snow cone with milk that's it I need to be inside the kitchen with the fridge door open when your video comes on 😁 thanks for the memories
Going down memory lane watching these videos. My mom grew up on a farm in Mahaica. I think I saw it here @ 21:36 . I remember going to Mahaica on the weekends. These videos are awesome, nice work man!
Omg. This just made my whole week. Sitting on my couch in Connecticut and just seeing the village where I was born and raised gives me such joy. To see it from an aerial standpoint was amazing. Thank you country Bai for making this country gal happy.
IT'S A LOVELY DAY INDEED....Fantastic Arial view Bro. Always enjoy the local cuisine. Tank you for your "good deed" Sir, in bringing "down home life" to us in the North. You da man!!!! Kentucky!
Used to visit Mahaica a lot cane grove an veeringnagin dam got a bunch a relatives living there plus in the 70s and 80s we used to live in Mahaica creek area Little Biaboo .......
Trade wind "boyhood days" shave ice😋😋 thanks for sharing and making us drool, went to buy some butterfish in NY and kept thinking about those you purchased off the boat in Mahica..😉 stay safe❤
Nice theme song for your aerial views, laid back and relaxing. I see that you love a lot of fish, I love fish myself but I am not as fortunate as you to get fresh fish. In fact as you often say you eat fresh food straight off the tree into the pot most of the time. Nice video as usual, Raj is starting to come out of his shell, he seems to be a bit reserved he just can't help becoming extroverted because you bring out the best in people.
Ardy thanks for de beautiful aerial video of the extensive view from above. I always wondered what Guyana looked like having lived 30years so near yet so far in Trinidad, even if I am a Jamaican born but now moved on again! Very impressed to hear that you and others going alcohol free +10 weeks. Keep it up and stay healthy. Blessings man.
I remember the boat area where u got fish. Giving up alcohol at any time is good. I think you should make a video about your experience to be alcohol-free in the end.
