Perhaps he took her permission in his multiple extra marital affairs and for his third marriage at the age of 70. Perhaps he would not have married Savithri if his wife did not give him permission or perhaps Savithri herself would have stayed away from Gemini. May be marrying a young girl like Vijayachamundeswari at the age of 16 to her maternal uncle was a brilliant way to settle a girl in life, while the mother can keep herself busy boozing. It is pity that Savithri did not settle her son by getting him married at the age of 12 to an older woman (because he was that age when she passed away). It is a pity that he was raised by Gemini's wife, became an engineer and settled in USA.
