@@Adarshgofficial MH became no.1 state in GSDP post 1980 and its not pre colonial. Political stability is too overhyped. MH never had a CM that Completed full 5 years term untill 2014 (Devendra Fadnavis) but still MH became no.1 state and has maintained it from past 4 decades. The GSDP of MH is $417 billions (21-22) and GJ is $265 billions (21-22). Which means its still 1.7x bigger than GJ. Its very illogical to compare GJ and MH. MH will retain the spot for atleast few decades. The real competition is GJ vs TN and TN vs UP vs KA, which have similar GSDP. The GSDP growth rate of MH is 9.34 % (22-23) and GJ is 7.37% (22-23) as per GOI data. The highest FDI was MH . Its so big that combined FDI of TN, KA, UP and GJ was less than MH. You just talked about Mumbai & Pune for Maharashtra. While in the top 13 districts of India in terms of GDP Maharshtra alone give 5 districts, which includes Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Thane & Nagpur. As per Deloitte Nagpur & Nashik are the emerging IT Hubs of India. Gujarat has only Ahmedabad and Surat as a major hub While Maharashtra has 2 developed Mumbai & Pune and 3 developing Nagpur, Nashik & Thane. Maharashtra is developing Metro network of around 500kms in the state. Maharashtra alone has set a target of building 5,000 kms of Expressway with it's own fund. Maharshtra only gets 7₹ in return of ₹100 in terms of income tax paid while Gujarat receives more. Maharashtra just need political stability then there will be no competition from the others. Maharshtra government is able to spend money on infrastructure projects on it's own while it is not the same with Gujarat.
Get your facts correct bro. It's not just Ahmedabad and Surat but Bharuch, Vapi, Ankleshwar, Rajkot, Jamnagar and many more industrial hubs. Top 10 fastest growing cities include surat and Rajkot. However, MH will reach 1 trillion ahead of any other state due its larger economy and historical advantage.
@@keyurbhavsar6256 Agree with you but not 100%. Rajkot is there but if you look into Maharashtra they are developing Nagpur, Nashik and Thane and other cities also. And it is clearly seen in the top districts in terms of GDP. Gujarat is primarily focused towards Ahmedabad and Surat. If you look into infrastructure projects, Rajkot is still struggling to get a single metro line. The bullet train is also far behind from its Basket. While Maharashtra gets its Thane Metro 30 km line, Nagpur 82km, Nashik has its advantages due to Pune city. Then you have the Samruddhi Expressway, Nagpur Mumbai Bullet train proposed awaiting Final Approval, these are the reasons I have stated those points.

Maharashtra is the largest economy in India, with a Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of around $435 billion in 2022-2023, which is 12.92% of the country's GDP. Maharashtra's economy is diverse, with a mix of agriculture, industry, and services. The state's economic growth is driven by its skilled workforce, strong industrial base, and favorable business environment. Maharashtra also has a higher per capita income than the national average. Foreign direct investment (FDI) Maharashtra accounted for 30% of India's FDI inflows between April 2000 and March 2023. Manufacturing Maharashtra contributes 13.8% of India's industrial output. Exports Maharashtra has the highest value of exports in India, accounting for 17.3% of the country's exports. In April 2023 to March 2024, Maharashtra recorded $67.21 billion worth of exports. Infrastructure Maharashtra has four international and 13 domestic airports, two major ports and 48 minor ports, and the largest power capacity in India.
Let me tell you a thing, when bullet train project was started between Ahmedabad to Mumbai , it was supposed to be completed in 2025-26 but in between the Maharashtra government holded on the project and raised many issues over the time. But after sometime, eknath shinde sir government counties the project and currently it is delayed by 2027-28. 🙃
The strategy of 'Divide and Rule' has been a shortcut to success for millennia and is still practiced today. Shiv Sena leaders are engaging in divisive politics against Gujarat because their presence is limited to Maharashtra, while the BJP cannot afford such division as they are politically active in both states. "Proud Marathas" must recognize the difference and remember that Gujaratis and Marathas once belonged to the same state. Those curious about the reasons behind industries shifting to Gujarat should consult only Marathi entrepreneurs who have conducted business in both states to understand where they would invest their hard-earned money and you shall get your answers. Whether it's Gujarat or Maharashtra, we are Indians first and should focus on growing together rather than harboring animosity towards each other.

Completely agree....locals are not able to avail opportunities since lack of skills and low quality of education. Gujarat needs to focus on education and also build capacity.
It is Uddhav Thackeray who brought the Political Instability in MH... BJP & Shivsena was a strong alliance and was considered as "Natural Alliance" as both parties shared same ideologies... If UBT had kept his CM ambitions aside, There would have been another fluent and successful term of the Govt from 2019-24 as it was in 2014-19... Of course Eknath Shinde's rebellion also caused political instability but it also broke the Unnatural Alliance of Sena-Cong-NCP which had lots of internal conflicts.

Really appreciate your efforts brother. I had passed 7 years in Pune. And now I shift in Surat Gujarat. I think comparisons is okay. But right now. Maharashtra Government is pushing to grow Gujarat, instead of this they have to implement those steps which Gujarat had already implemented. Otherwise I can clearly see that why Gujarat is become most favorable state. Not because of Central Government support. But the policy and infrastructure they have made can attract anyone. And I feel that here Gujarati have an extreme business mind. Something I feel missing in Maharashtra. Politics is not a reason to becoming Gujarat at the top. Something is here, I feel that. As an gujarati this is not a rivalry this is co-operation if maharashtra or any other state becomes 1 trillion economy the whole country should be happy instead of fighting but politicians will play divide and rule game for thier interests not matter thier parties in this
I agree that, Gujarat has best infra and Public transport facilities. This is my personal experience. Like in Surat you can travel whole day in public transport buses just for ₹30
Yup, love both states bus as a person who has lived in surat and mumbai both, surats infrastructure and quality of life is much much better than most parts of Mumbai. By quality of life I mean infrastructure, quality of public property, cleanlines, general ease of living
@@SWAPNIL._.12.X But still Surat is best because of many reasons like best roads, no such traffics, well connected bus routes, affordable in food and accommodation.
Despite of a healthy competition, i love my marathi brothers. They are most welcoming for us gujjus outsiders. Among all the other states i have worked in, apart from my Gujarat, Maharashtra is the best place. We gujjus love maharashtra and maratha people. What our marathi brothers think of us gujjus please leave replies under my comment❤❤
The biggest and guess the only factor where Maharashtra is lagging behind is political instability. As we say when the Uddhav Thackeray Govt came in power they put a ban on bullet train project which was a central government venture with oversees investors in it. This instability createa reluctance among investors whereas Gujarat has showcased an amazing political stability. Even in the recent 2024 LS Polls, nobody can guess what the Maharashtrians are actually up to.
Maharashtra will vote for MVA...to make Uddhav Thackeray the CM. BJP is creating political instability in Maharashtra. BJP is Anti-Marathi, Pro-Gujju party!
